If you change your feelings or actions "just a little bit," you can change the future
If you liked any of Nogi Akiko's works (MIU 404, Unnatural, etc) then I think you would enjoy this too!! I was a little bit wary as SF is not my preferred genre but this drama felt different compared to other SF series. So if you're like me and don't like SF or are maybe tired of how same-y they feel, I would definitely give this drama a try!Nogi Akiko excels at weaving even the smallest details into future episodes and major reveals, which makes you want to savor every scene. The payoff when everything finally starts to connect is incredibly satisfying, and Just a Bit Esper is no exception. The story has many twists and turns with so many questions. You may find the first few episodes to be slow/procedural drama-like but it was honestly the calm before the storm. Everything starts to spiral out of control pretty quickly and I ended up missing the more comedic vibe the first couple of episode provided. So if you're someone who has has thoughts of dropping it only after watching a few eps, please continue!! The contrast between the first and second half is part of what makes the drama such a compelling watch.
My only real gripe is that the drama was too short. That said, despite its brief runtime, its message, characters, and story are deeply impactful, and it leaves you with a strong sense of hope by the end. I do wish some of the characters had been more fleshed out, but with only nine episodes, there’s only so much that can be done.

Time-Travel Plot
It reminds me of Steins;Gate. I like the way the plot thickens suddenlyㅡwhich I normally don'tㅡbut this drama is sure enjoyable! It starts with mysterious company hiring hopeless people by giving them mysterious missions daily. Missions were simple and sometimes corny, and it took like 3 episodes for me to believe it might be slice of life before the plot take turns to become much better. Everyone has their own missions, their own gains, what's okay and what's unforgivable. It makes us torn whether to be in whose team since everyone has gray moralesㅡbut I think it is beautiful, because that's what human is.
