Not for Everyone, but Familiar to Vertical Drama Fans
If you’re used to low-budget vertical dramas, this one won’t faze you. But if you’re new to the format, it might be a turn-off because it’s clear from the start that it isn’t as well produced or well financed as what you may be used to. That said, I’m familiar with vertical films, used to poor subtitles, and I love Guan Yue—so I’m definitely biased. While this isn’t his best work or even a hint of what he’s capable of, I didn’t hate it. It’s a casual, silly watch with a weak script and a short runtime that makes it easy to finish.Cet avis était-il utile?
Heartfelt Acting and a Cool Character Make This Drama a Must-Watch
Vento Guan Yue (管栎) delivers a strong performance as the cool, composed male lead. He brings a quiet intensity and pride to the role, while still allowing moments of genuine emotion to come through, which adds depth to his character. His expressions and steady presence make the high-stakes tension feel believable and engaging rather than forced. The female lead is cute, clever, and strategic, creating a dynamic that feels balanced and natural. Their chemistry develops through sharp exchanges and mutual challenge. Overall, Vento Guan Yue carries the drama with confidence and skill, showing versatility and making this a performance worth paying attention to.Cet avis était-il utile?
