Wish they could pull this double Male lead combo again but please change the actress!
I was excited to see Yang Han/Alf Yang and Zhang Xuan as Double Male lead. And Both of them nail their character perfectly.The Plot was quite okay for Republican and unfortunately Zhang Zilin and Yang Han don't have chemistry. Zhang Xuan got better chemistry with Zhang Zilin but somehow she couldn't catch both of actor skills. Compare to all of main leads the FL was the key of the drama letdown.
Zhang Zilin acting show lack of emotion and didn't convince me as smart FL or someone who wants to take revenge. Her expression is almost same in every scene. It feels like annoying damsel in distress that usual Chinese short drama have. The worse of all the FL characterization is very inconsistent.
I've done it just for sake of the actors. Wish Both of male actor could collab with bromance or something with different FL. I couldn't enjoy Zhang Zilin acting.
