SWEET BUT SHORT
This was a very sweet and also very short drama.It leaves the audience yearning for more from the new couple.The drama ends just as the characters become a couple.Honestly they should have added an episode of them being in their dating era.We got to see Kano out on a date with the other Ogami laughing and smiling enjoying his time in the other world.It should have been fair to see him enjoying himself with the Ogami he's inlove with.Working together as a couple, going to and from the office and just enjoying their time as couple.Was this review helpful to you?
Solid Plot, Mehh Chemistry, Fish Kiss
This really just took me back to the early BL days with the fish kisses lol, but what a way to start a review.Ummm, the plot is great for sure but would have needed more than 6 episodes to flesh it out perfectly and I think they did utilise the 6 episodes well, but it wasn’t enough.
There was not much romantic build up between the characters, chemistry was lacking, and the fish kiss too lol (would have been better without it) did the actors lips even touch? I honestly thought this was behind us in big 2026.
Also, the ending was so rushed and just filled with …nothing.
Now, should you watch it? Maybe? I did, so you may too, just don’t expect too much from it.

BEST BACKHUG BEST CHANGE WE COULD EVER BE
The Backhug is the best part of this drama !! I just can't get over with it And why do Japanese dramas are very very good at showing everyone's point of view? Like on the reconciliation part like bruhh ! That was so so convincing. I don't know if the drama was too short or not because I thought it did end well, If I am to have a violent reaction, it should be that the kissing scene should've be sultrier because they are like so awkward at that part specially in the bed scene , but who cares ? That's what it is ? Still good and I can really recommend this one ! And Ogami so pretty added to my crush list ㅋㅋㅋI realized in this drama is that nothing us going to change if nothing is going to change, it is also has the thought of one should to risk specially when you like someone because you would really never know what can happen or perhaps your Ogami likes you too ! Things can always be clearer if it is being talked about and who knows if it could really make us change for the better
And by the way, does that mirror reads minds ?

This series completely won me over with its dreamy, almost ethereal look, and it’s surprisingly easy to relate to. At its core, it’s a moving story about identity, connection, genuine understanding, and the power of “The world of If.”When Kano is transferred from the technical department to sales, he feels totally out of place, especially when compared to Ogami, the star of the sales team. That sense of inadequacy pushes him into awkward silence and an uncomfortable posture. Then he stumbles upon an old mirror said to show whoever gazes into it the person they wish to become. Kano longs to finally stand on equal ground with Ogami, and suddenly he’s transported into “The World of If”, a parallel reality where he’s confident, respected by his peers, and in a relationship with a warmer, more affectionate version of Ogami.
What I love most is how beautifully the series draws parallels between real life and this alternate reality, showing how different choices can reshape not only the protagonist’s career path but also his personal and emotional relationships. The desire for connection is universal, and while “The World of If” is tempting, true change comes from real actions in the presente, from having the courage to step out of your comfort zone and open up to others. Everything Kano ever wanted: the care and respect of Ogami and his team, was already there. He just needed to open up a little for his “The World of If” to become his reality.

this series is a must watch Series because the acting, story plot everything is just perfect and the height difference oh my god it was just sooo cute this series is a chef's kissto be honest I don't like supernatural series that much but this is is the best
they showed everything that is possible there was no flaw in this series

Excelente historia, buena instropectiva, sin relleno
Me encantó muchísimo este bl, historia sencilla pero amé los personajes y la instropectiva a cada uno, creo que no hubo momento que pensé que era relleno o que no correspondía a la serie, todo está bien contado y me encantaron las actuaciones de los actores principales, también son muy guapos!Tal vez hizo falta un capítulo más para que pudieran explicar como evolucionó la relación de Kano y Ogami (porque no creo que desde el principio Ogami fuera travieso) pero aún así fue excelente! 10/10

I Didn’t Expect to Love This Much
To be honest…I started this just because of Kotaro Daigo. I first noticed him in Alice in Borderland, and when I heard he was doing a BL series, I was instantly curious. As a huge fan of Japanese BL, I had to check it out.I wasn’t expecting much going in—but wow, it completely surprised me. The chemistry between the leads was actually insane, and both actors delivered such strong performances.
Also the cinematography?? So good. Every scene looks so aesthetic and just hits different.
My only complaint? It’s way too short. Like…just when I got emotionally invested, it ended 😭 I honestly needed more episodes, more scenes, more EVERYTHING.

Started off average but got better later
Well parallel universe+slow burn is just not my type. I like some spice, some drama, some romance with a dash of pain etc😆. But this drama talks more about his anxiety problems, parallel universe and communication skills for the 1st few eps. I know its slow burn but i felt the story pace was also slowAnyways lets go episode by episode
Ep1: damn it was dark (not story but the lighting 🤭) i barely could see anything. To top that i was kinda confused idk if it was just me though. The whole ep was just about kano and his struggles
Ep2: kano moves to parallel universe and the difference between both.. still barely any hint of romance
Ep3: Now we see some light spark of jealousy and from what i see Ookami has the potential to become a little devil🤭🤭 but i read spoilers that he would return to real world in ep 5 so i think that will happen.
Ep4: I will stop spoiling here cz it got better starting this episode. The pacing issue is fixed and the plot has become more interesting and we're seeing more focus on romance along with kano's problems
I feel the drama would do much better with proper pacing and more episode cz rn what i see is there are lot of scenes talking about kano and his problems than kano x ookami... their story is like going on the sidelines. Well I'm gonna finish it anyways cz its not bad but I'd not re-watch it
Change of opinion after ep 5: i invalidate the above paragraph 🤭🤭 I'll probably rewatch this one and yes kano and ookami plot gets its attention so YAY!!! WATCH IT. LITERALLY DON'T JUST SKIP IT CZ OF THE INITIAL EPISODES
Hehe the ending was perfect. Damn never expected ogami to turn bad boy once he got kano's consent 🤭🤭

terriblemente infravalorada
por qué no veo a un montón de gente hablando de esta serie ?????? 😭😭me encanta el tono angst y gris que tiene, se siente como una versión de cherry magic en versión triste y depresiva, en especial el capítulo donde kano va al otro mundo y se encuentra con un ogami más sobreprotector que me recuerda mucho al personaje de kurosawa en cherry magic
el único defecto que tiene esta serie es que es super cortita, yo necesito verlos en su dinámica como novios
otra cosa es que ame demasiado el personaje de kano, así se ve una persona super tímida e introvertida que se cierra a trabajar con otros y no pedir ayuda de nadie (soy ese lamentablemente 😔)

MAS !! esse daqui é muito bom namoral
primeiro que a parte do escritório em si é REALMENTE relevante pra história
o escritório não ta ali só como o ambiente onde os protas se conhecem
o trabalho que eles fazem reflete no relacionamento deles de fato e eles usam isso de analogia pra explicar a dinâmica do Kano com o Ogami do mundo original e do mundo alternativo
eu achei muito interessante isso pq como esse plot é sobre dois mundos se eles não fizessem isso acho que a parte do escritório ia se perder completamente e ser irrelevante pra trama
então foi muito refrescante de ver
fora que os personagens secundários são relavantes pra construção disso☝️porque o contraste entre os ambientes se dá principalmente em como eles tratam o Kano e como o Kano trata eles e isso molda a mentalidade e as ações do Kano

o desenrolar da trama é muito satisfatório também
é tudo muito bem amarradinho
eu sempre penso que se eu tivesse num mundo perfeito eu não iria embora
mas o desejo do Kano tinha sido distorcido, ele não queria um mundo perfeito, ele queria tornar o mundo onde ele já vivia no mundo ideal dele saca
pq o mundo perfeito na verdade não ia servir pra alguém que como ele, que não tinha feito nada pra aquilo acontecer, que não tinha vivido aquelas memórias e se lembrava do antigo
e achei bem legal como a história mostrou ele percebendo isso e depois aplicando na prática no mundo dele o que ele aprendeu no outro mundo
não senti que foi algo jogado do nada, mas que foi de fato sendo construído, em cadência
que ele aprendeu com o que viveu e não só descartou depois de voltar só pq não era lá que ele queria viver saca
e os atores mandaram muito tá
o que fez o Kano representou bem como é vc ser afetado pelo trabalho
mas principalmente o do Ogami que teve que interpretar duas versões do mesmo personagem
que não era muito diferentes, só tinham certas coisas específicas que faziam as diferenças serem gritantes
achei genuinamente muito bom !!
também gostei muito da cinematografia, do jogo de câmera
fora que a abertura é belíssima fala sério
só queria ter visto mais deles como casal
pq foi q nem na série anterior, acabou antes de mostrar eles vivemdo como casal💔
queria um ep especial sabe💔💔 pq eles tem química sabe (única coisa que faltou foi um beijão)
fora que acho que pra mim se apaixonar no trabalho seria exatamente como aconteceu com eles, um crush que cresce pq vc começou a notar MUITO a outra pessoa
enfim gostei demais recomendo 👍👍
