Revenge story turned ridiculous

This didn't have a synopsis or anything and it was just 6ep so I just started it with no expectations and no knowledge about what I'm going to watch.

After the second ep I kinda knew what is going on and I understood everything,, till that twist in the last ep.

Tbh I understand the frustration in the comments, this was going so well then bam!! 180 degree sadness, for me I actually spent the last ep with a whole 9 mins of laughter!! The whole you die or I die is very aggressive idea, also the kidnapper appearance out of No where was hilariously unrealistic, everything was done in a very silly way, also the fight consequence and the way the ML was somewhere in the house after being kicked out, the mother that totally disappeared in the rebirth... Etc.

I mean it was all good and fairytale-like till the silly last ep.

I don't really hate it, but the end was more theatrical than needed when it could have easily be a very sweet end.

I don't know if I would recommend it or not but you can just skip it you won't miss much anyway ~~

the title says it all

its not a bad show, i did find it watchable but it turned much dark in the last eps, i didnt like the reborn and revenge plot later on, it become depressing..
one thing i liked for sure is that i liked the chemistry, the nc scene is hot but if you are looking for happy ending its better to avoid this one

Until We Drown

I don’t need to overthink a title for this review, the title of the series already encapsulates its core themes perfectly.
I went into this short series with fairly neutral expectations and ended up enjoying it far more than I anticipated. While I’m generally not someone who gravitates toward sad endings, I usually try to understand why a story chooses that route and come to terms with it. In this case, I can honestly say I prefer this ending over a far crueler alternative, one where the characters turn against each other and the main character dies believing he was betrayed by someone he trusted and loved. Compared to that, this ending, while undeniably tragic, feels purposeful. The series frames sacrifice as an expression of love, and in that sense, the tragedy carries meaning. If love must end in pain, I would rather it be a love rooted in selflessness than hatred. The story establishes early on that this is not a light watch, the visual palette leans heavily into dark blues and greys, reinforcing the somber tone and emotional weight. At its heart, the narrative argues that fate cannot be escaped; if you attempt to defy it, it will simply find another way to assert itself. If one did not die, the other would have. That inevitability is what defines the story. Despite the sadness, I found it to be a beautifully tragic experience. The chemistry between the leads was genuinely compelling, and the cinematography elevated the emotional impact throughout. I also couldn’t help but notice how much the second main character, the “brother”, resembles First Kanaphan Puitrakul. From facial structure to even the placement of moles near the chin, the resemblance is striking, almost uncanny. One character I felt no sympathy for whatsoever was the man obsessed with the main character. He was, without question, the primary source of destruction in the story. I would like to believe that after everything he did, literally across two lifetimes, he was ultimately caught by the police. Anything less would feel undeserved. I do wish this series had been longer, as the story had real potential to be something even more impactful with additional development. I’d also love to see the two leads reunited in another series someday, ideally something lighter and more hopeful. Unfortunately, no actors are credited, so if anyone has information on who they are, I’d genuinely appreciate it. One technical issue that significantly distracted me was the dubbing in the first and last episodes. The timing was often off, either delayed or rushed, and it pulled me out of the story entirely. At times, it felt almost like an AI-generated dub forced into place, which is unfortunate given how emotionally grounded the rest of the series is. Overall, this is not a series for everyone, especially not for viewers who strictly prefer happy endings. But for those open to tragic romance and reflective storytelling, it’s a worthwhile watch.

I don’t even know what to feel right now. I loved this drama; everything from the story to the chemistry was perfect, but the ending…I just can’t move on! I keep thinking about it. There should have been at least the happy ending we all wanted.

The whole story was something I can't clearly explain. There's rebirth for love, revenge, and rebirth for love. One character comes back to get revenge, the other is reborn for love. But in the end…one sacrificed so the other could live, and that's because of love. I can’t stop thinking about that moment. It’s heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time, but I just wanted a little more. Just one ending where we get to see them truly happy together.

Even now, it’s stuck with me. The emotions, the tension, the love…they all linger. It’s a drama that messes with your heart and refuses to let go.

Revenge backfired

Brothers taking revenge on each other, a story about revenge, love, loss and pain.
The story was good, but the execution not so, there were several things that weren't done right.

The acting was ok but not great. There was just a bit chemistry.
The kiss and "bed" scenes were done wel.
The visuals and music were good.

Since the whole series isn't that long, it's worth the watch.

a darker revenge short series

Overall: this was not a fluffy romance but I didn't judge it by fluffy romance standards. 6 episodes about 10 minutes each. Aired on Secret of Us YouTube channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7BSona1dmx4ez-PNNMmmFsAt8zwjDhsj&si=tbfb1Upl2OXvxJGa

Content Warnings: sexual assault, violence, blood, non con recording, stalking, manhandling, blackmail, deaths/murders, non con kissing turned consensual, drugging, past bullying, threatened suicide

Notes:
- to skip most of the content warnings start episode 1 at 2:15 and episode 4 at 4:45, then end it at episode 5 9m30s
- the subtitles say half brother but it might mean step brothers (i.e. not biologically related)

What I Liked
- bath tub scene
- the BL manga
- when a character decided to change (in ep 4 after 4:45)

Room For Improvement
- flash forward/present and then went back to start
- seemed needlessly dark with the third guy
- no consequence shown for a terrible character
