Exciting

This drama was very interesting. While watching it, I felt like I was putting together a puzzle—and the final picture that emerged was... quite interesting and exciting. The actors were incredible and so well-prepared. The plot is intriguing and enigmatic, full of twists and plenty of mystery. Personally, I really liked it.

PEAK SHOW MUST WATCH

Mr. Kill is honestly such a peak BL drama! 😭❤️ From the very beginning, I was completely hooked. The story is interesting, the pacing feels natural, and the plot is really well-developed. I especially love how the story doesn’t just focus on the romance but also takes time to build the characters, their relationships, and the situations around them. Everything feels connected, which makes it so satisfying to keep watching.

And can we PLEASE talk about Dewtee?! 😭 He is seriously SO handsome. Every time he appears on screen, I’m distracted because how is someone allowed to look that good?! His visuals are absolutely insane, but what makes it even better is the way he portrays his character. There’s something about his expressions and chemistry with the other characters that makes his scenes so enjoyable to watch.

The chemistry between the leads is another major highlight for me. Their interactions feel natural and believable, and the emotional moments actually have an impact because the drama takes the time to develop their relationship instead of rushing everything. I really appreciate that.

I also love that the plot has enough depth to keep things interesting. There are moments that make you curious about what will happen next, while the romantic parts give you all those butterflies and squealing moments. 😂💗 The combination of storyline, character development, romance, and visuals makes this drama such an enjoyable watch.

Overall, Mr. Kill is definitely a drama that deserves attention. The plot is good, the development is well done, the characters are interesting, and Dewtee is… well, Dewtee. 😭🔥 If you enjoy BL dramas with a good storyline, strong chemistry, and a very handsome cast, I’d definitely recommend giving Mr. Kill a try!

Awesome series but predictable suspect

It was such an amazing series, actors amazing as always. I loved the dynamics between Tee and Dew. I honestly didn't mind getting their crumbs in bonus clips.

Except that the main murderer was too obvious to predict, but otherwise it was fun watching the story roll out.

I was so impressed by Dew yet again, he portrayed his role so well.

I wish real life reporters worked as hard as Thun or Praew to show what's true without giving in to high power politicians.

Anyway, this show war amazing

Interesting concept with a predictable plot

I loved the concept a lot, but there’s just nothing to get attached to. The story doesn’t exactly hook me, I can tell who is the murderer is probably a bunch of victims connected to corruption from officials, the mastermind is probably Thun who seems ever so invested yet TOO invested in the myrders recreated by murders following Kaye’s comic, and the fact that the main character probably has a dual personality from a mile away. The bromance is small dog treats for those desperate, It’s sad.

Dark, Disturbing and Surprisingly Thought-Provoking

I had been eagerly anticipating Mr. Kill ever since its teaser was released during GMMTV 2026: Magic Vibes Maximized. The premise immediately intrigued me, and I was especially excited to see Dew Jisu take on another role after Faceless Love. After watching the entire series, I can confidently say that this was one of GMMTV’s most interesting and ambitious productions.

The story centers on Kaye, a famous manga artist whose dark underground manga Nekros was written under the name “Mr. Kill.” When a series of real murders begins recreating the murders depicted in his manga, Kaye suddenly finds himself under suspicion. Police officer Phat is assigned to investigate and is forced to work with Kaye because nobody understands Nekros better than its creator. From there, the mystery becomes much more complicated as their investigation exposes painful connections to the past and raises questions about whether what they are witnessing is justice, revenge or something far more sinister.

The screenplay by Thitipong Chaisati does a great job balancing the murder mystery, Kaye’s psychological backstory and the developing partnership between Kaye and Phat. Directed by Sakon Tiacharoen, who also directed Leap Day, the series maintains a dark and tense atmosphere while gradually expanding its themes beyond the central mystery.

What I particularly appreciated was how much the series had to say about vigilante justice, morality, corruption, power and the failure of the justice system. It explores what happens when people are failed by the very institutions supposed to protect them, especially those who are poor or powerless. It kept making me question whether taking justice into your own hands automatically makes you as bad as the people you are punishing. If a criminal escapes because the system is corrupt or ineffective, can we really blame someone for wanting to make that person pay?

That dilemma reminded me of Death Note, particularly the question of whether killing criminals can ever be considered justice. Is Thun truly evil if the people he targets are criminals who escaped punishment? Is Kaye weak because he could only express those violent ideas through his manga? Or is there a difference between imagining revenge and actually carrying it out? The series doesn't make these questions easy to answer, which is one of its biggest strengths.

Dew Jisu was excellent as Kaye. He brought so much depth and emotional subtlety to the character, and there were moments when I could understand exactly what Kaye was feeling just by looking at him. Episode 7 was especially impressive. The scene where Kaye talks to his reflection genuinely made me wonder whether he really was the killer. Dew was an excellent fit for this role, and yes, somehow he is still ridiculously handsome even when crying.

Tee Teeradech also did an amazing job as Phat. This being his first main role in a series makes his performance even more impressive. He brought the necessary intensity and seriousness to Phat, while also working extremely well opposite Dew. Their partnership was one of my favourite aspects of the series.

Off Jumpol was another standout. He has always had a talent for portraying those irritating characters you love to hate, so watching him take on a genuine villain felt like a natural progression. Thun's double life as a news anchor and serial killer made the character even more disturbing.

Mr. Kill is not an easy watch. It is dark, emotionally heavy and sometimes genuinely stressful. Around Episode 7, I had to pause the series because I needed to get myself into the right headspace and, honestly, the proper state of grace before continuing. The gruesome imagery also makes this unsuitable for viewers who are particularly sensitive to violence. And if you are coming into this expecting a bromance, don't. This is very much a crime thriller first.

One scene that really stayed with me was Kaye burning Commissioner Chaiwat. It was almost poetic in its brutality and felt like fitting retribution for the role Chaiwat played in the demise of Kaye's father.

I did have a few reservations about the final episode. The one-year time jump confused me because I wasn't entirely sure what it was supposed to signify. If the intention was to show healing and recovery, I am not sure that reopening the relationship with a joke about a lighter was the strongest choice. I also would have liked to see the Uncle actually facing the consequences of his actions in prison. More importantly, I wish the series had shown some form of counselling or support for Phat, Praew and the other people whose lives were devastated by these events. Would that have been completely realistic? Probably not. But I would still have appreciated a little hope.

Despite those criticisms, I really enjoyed the series. The ending itself wasn't particularly surprising, but there was enough misdirection throughout the story to keep me guessing and make me want to wait an entire week for the next episode. The performances were excellent across the board, and Sakon Tiacharoen deserves credit for drawing so much from the cast throughout the series.

Mr. Kill was a dark, emotional and unsettling rollercoaster that asked uncomfortable questions about justice, morality, revenge and the world we live in. It wasn't perfect, particularly in the finale, but it was compelling, well acted and remarkably thoughtful. For me, it is easily one of GMMTV's best series to date.

Just too predictable

Mr. Kill is a tough one. I think the show had potential, and I know a lot of people have been waiting for a series with DewTee. Did I expect the series to be a BL? No. But I also think they exaggerated the heavy bromance aspects, similar to what happened on Wu. I think Peaceful Property is still the best bromance tone GMM has done, but that could be because we’ve seen TayNew kissing for many years.

But Mr. Kill’s biggest problem is the plot. The central mystery and the killer are very, very, very bland. It’s so obvious it’s Thun from day one that I almost thought it could be a red herring. But no, it’s the obviously suspicious guy the whole time.

Also, it is so weird how the series basically tells us Kay has DID, or something similar, but that goes absolutely nowhere. We have him always agitated to get to his pills, the scenes in the mirror, and him not remembering things that happened. But that doesn’t matter to the overall plot. Praew was extra annoying the entire time, absolutely insufferable.

No Twists, Just Turns

A series with a very good and intriguing base for both the mystery and its characters, but ultimately with a lot of room for improvement in the writing department. While developing the plot, they tried to establish the partnership of Dew and Tee in a way that often felt forced, when that wasn't actually needed for the story. Their dynamic could have also been developed naturally through small, subtle moments alongside the story, while leaving more room to flesh out better the details of the mystery itself.

The acting was genuinely the part I enjoyed the most. The entire cast did a very good job portraying their characters, showcasing their acting range. Dew and Tee specifically, as a duo, had very nice acting chemistry and complemented each other, which makes me look forward to seeing them in their next project as well.

Overall, I would recommend the series to people who enjoy mysteries. The show will surely keep you interested until the end, but it does not raise the stakes beyond what you would expect from a standard mystery. It had the potential to be great, but ends up feeling a bit predictable and lacks the wow factor you usually expect from the genre.

Waste of potential

The show had great potential, but it didn't meet the audience's expectations.
I think the show didn't deserve to end like this. There were a lot of holes in the story, it became predictable, and at some point it became a cliché.
I give it a good rating because despite all of that, it was great.
Let me mention that most of the episodes got 9 for acting and storytelling one of them even got a 10 on acting! So, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that ot was bad, I say it could be much better.

Mr Kill(ed my interest)

I really enjoyed the first two episodes, the following four ranged from average to boring and then it took me a month to come back and finish the last three episodes which I watched while alternating between doing literally anything else and then watching the screen. I would like to note that I did not drop this series (against my best wishes) and finished it purely out of spite so I could leave a review.

What I disliked:

- Considering this is a GMMTV show (arguably the largest producer of Thai Bls) this bromance was produced more like a badly-written BL series than a well-written bromance. Throwing fan service in occassionally between Dew and Tee was annoying and seemed redundant when if they wanted to do that, they easily could have just made the series a BL from the beginning. If this were a production from a country or company that produces significantly less BLs then it would make sense, but as GMMTV produced a large number of BLs this year aside from this show it seems silly to have the main leads occassionally interact like they're in a conservative BL. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy bromance shows just as much as I enjoy BLs but this came across as a way for GMMTV to appeal to their large BL fanbase while still filling a 'straight show quota' for the year.

- This could have been a lot shorter and more succinct. The storyline was not interesting or fleshed out enough for it to comfortably fill all the episodes even with only 10 episodes at 45 mins a piece. I could have happily watched between 5 and 8 episodes instead and came away with the same understanding of the storyline. I think it could have been more interesting if they stuck with the main plot of the manga artist assisting the inspector for longer, but they move on from that quite quickly.

- It is totally obvious from almost the outset who the killer is if you open your eyes. There was no suspense whatsoever, they try very lightly to throw you off and give you a couple of options but it is very very clear who it is right from the first few episodes. This makes the rest of the series less enjoyable as you don't get the satisfying reveal and I think they also know this as it never ends up really being a big reveal for the characters either.

Acting from the cast was fine, but given the interesting premise provided for the show, it did not live up to the expectations it set for itself.

I will not be rewatching in this lifetime and I wouldn't recommend you watch it once in yours.

Great Psychological investigation drama, but I got tired of Investigation and I hate Bromance (expect when it's just censorship). I watch it for DewTree, becaause they are great actor. And yes they did well, really well but I'm not the public at the time I was watching.

I loved the characters, and the plot was interesting, everything was perfect: cast, acting, plot, pacing but I wasn't the target.

Beyond the Crime: Pain, Trauma & Justice

This series is proving to be so much more than just a crime thriller. What makes it so powerful is the way it explores pain, suffering, past trauma, responsibility, and the uncertainty of what comes next. Kay and Phat are not only trying to uncover the truth behind the murders, they are also carrying the emotional weight of everything they have been through. Their past trauma continues to affect their choices, their trust, and the way they see the people around them.

I also love how the story gives a voice to innocent people who have been failed or silenced by a corrupt system. The deeper they go, the more it feels like justice is not simply about finding a culprit. It is about facing a system where powerful people can hide the truth and where the innocent are left to suffer. That constant uncertainty makes every episode more intense because you never really know who to trust or what painful truth might come out next.

And the acting makes all of this even more impactful. Dew’s portrayal of Kay’s pain, vulnerability, suspicion, and inner conflict is phenomenal, while Tee brings so much emotional depth to Phat. Their chemistry feels natural, and the way they show complicated emotions through their expressions and silent looks is one of the strongest parts of the series. You can feel the pain, doubt, fear, and slowly developing trust without everything having to be said out loud.

The dark atmosphere, intense crime scenes, psychological tension, and the contrast between the manga panels and the live-action scenes make the series feel unique and eerie. The pacing is also getting more intense with every episode, and I love how it keeps giving us more questions instead of easy answers. A beautifully written story with powerful performances. This is becoming a truly unforgettable psychological crime drama.
