Beautiful Darkness
A really interesting thriller drama that explores the flaws and weaknesses of human nature through each and every of its characters in great detail. The story as a whole doesn't leave you in awe, but the mystery is handled really well with every episode offering a new piece to the puzzle, while still keeping you in the dark. The beautiful cinematography and atmospheric direction only add to an already well-executed series, amplifying its darkness and giving it a distinctive identity. As for the acting, I can only praise the cast. All of its members are accomplished actors with experience that contributed to this beautiful result, portraying their characters in the best possible way. Especially, the girls did a magnificent job and truly got to shine.
I definitely recommend this series to fans of the genre. It's a well-paced show that doesn't drag or gets boring. It successfully keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last moment.

Everything Went Right
A pleasant surprise from GMMTV's 2025 lineup that I didn't expect to touch my heart as much as it did. The premise is very simple and actually not that original compared to what you'll see in the entertainment industry, yet it's effective. The plot is solid and doesn't drag or stray from its original course. The few subplots that are introduced are not taking any unnecessary space or affect the narrative. The story remains loyal to its genre, with romance being the main focus from start to finish, and everything feels very natural and down to earth. The dialogues, the character growth, the reactions and interactions between characters are all organically developed. As for the characters themselves, they are very lovable and multidimensional. They are not perfect or how a person is supposed to act or be. They are very human; they feel real. I also want to point out how important and refreshing it was to see a series embracing the actors' natural skin tones. It's a rarity seeing tanned actors without makeup on the screen, and I loved it.
In regards to the acting, it was good overall. Some actors admittedly have more experience than others within the cast, but there was no one that didn't do a good job portraying their characters. As for Mond and Ryu, being a new pairing, they were actually pretty cute and showed a lot of chemistry.
Overall, I do recommend this series to anyone looking for a heartwarming show. The beautiful cinematography and scenery really give you the vibes of that one summer you had in your life that felt special. It gives off a sweet and nostalgic feeling.

Appearances Deceive
A really fun series of anthology episodes that address relationship problems you don't often see showcased in other shows. It perfectly balances comedy with heartfelt moments, without getting tiresome or repetitive. It is well written and well produced overall. The acting is pretty solid across all cast members as well, with every new episode featuring a guest star who shines in their role.
In all honesty, I had low expectations only to be pleasantly surprised by how good this series turned out to be. I do recommend it to everyone, because I feel that this show can resonate with many people.

An overstretched Nothingness
When I watched the trailer I didn't expect much, but it actually started really well. I ate my words for the first five episodes and I was so pleasantly surprised, but then it flopped. No depth was given to neither the characters nor the couple dynamics. Everyone in this story remained two dimensional from start to finish and it's a shame because all of them had so much potential to be fleshed out in 16 episodes. Instead of that we got a pointless back and forth between the two main couples for multiple episodes and almost zero screen time for the side couples, when there was so much room for development. Don't get me wrong, it does have it's fun and cute moments, but that's just it. Nothing really substantial. If they went for a 10 episode series it would work, but 16 episodes is just a waste of budget. The acting overall was fine. The actors did their job. For me, Aou and Boom really carried the show, even with their limited screen time. They are very experienced actors and elevated their roles.
If you're interested in watching something feel good with zero drama just to pass your time and relax that's a fine show to watch.

Incredible from every aspect!
By far the best series GMMTV produced for 2024! Words aren't enough to describe how good it was. For starters, we are not talking about a bl, but a show that mainly revolves around the themes of family bonds and friendship. Each episode was unique and a rollercoaster of emotions, that you'd find yourself from laughing to crying in a matter of seconds. By investing on a cleverly written plot and well developed characters, this show never flops or gets boring. What's more fascinating to watch is that aside from the main cast, who's acting is excellent and their characters so lovable with great chemistry and interactions, you also get to see cameos of many actors that manage to shine just in that small amount of time they are given, portraying very well thought and deep characters with their own past and motives and that's something that many other series struggle to give even to their main characters.
I highly recommend it to everyone! I feel it can touch anyone's heart one way or another, given the variety of stories it offers. Just check it out for yourself and you won't regret it!

A Decent Effort
A typical love story revolving around the vampire lore. It's not anything extraordinary plot-wise, but it does have a beautiful aesthetic, with scraps of gothic elements and some very interesting musical choices, that add a more dramatic tone to the series, aligning well with the overall theme. If there's one thing I feel was missing, it was the proper exploration of the vampire world. This show focuses mostly on the romantic aspect, without delving deeply into the supernatural part, resulting to a weak world-building.Regarding the acting, it was my favourite part of the series. Joss and Gawin as the main leads, did a really good job portraying their characters and showed a great chemistry. For me, this was Joss's best role so far -- he was magnificent.
I do recommend this series to people who enjoy vampire stories or supernatural elements in general. It's a nice series to watch!

Lived up to my expectations
A very well written and consistent story, that successfully captures the essence of a fairytale with its great performances and ethereal music choices. It's not a series that left me speechless plot wise, but it has a very mesmerising atmosphere that just draws you in. Namtan and Film really acted their a**es out without one outshining the other. If anything, they compliment each other so well. The side couple, I didn't mind but I didn't care about either. The acting was good, but the series could survive just fine without that storyline for me.Overall, it's a show worth checking out if you want to see a good gl or just enjoy romance in general..

Back to the Start
A refreshing and clever concept that parallels parts of Krist and Singto's real life stories and focuses on the aftermath of a breakup and a couple's attempt to reconcile, rather than developing a blooming romance. It's a more mature and unusual approach of a love story, especially within the BL genre. Set against the backdrop of the media industry, the series also address some of the issues public figures face, giving you an insight on how the industry works.I wouldn't say, it's an overly dramatic show. It has romance, both funny and heartbreaking moments and a sweet nostalgia that takes you back to SOTUS and the early days of BL. Singto and Krist's chemistry is still superb, as if no years have passed and it's fascinating to see how both have evolved and matured as actors over the years.
My main issue with the series, was that sometimes the writting felt overflowing and choppy. I just wished the script lingered more on exploring some matters that held considerable weight in the story, instead of brushing them off fast and introducing subplots that offered too little to the story or the characters.
Having said that, I will recommend this show, because in spite of any flaws, it's truly fulfilling and satisfying to watch, and it's also something different.

Beyond fulfilling and worth watching!
A series rich in locations, colours and flavours, framed by a retro aesthetic and tasteful music choices. The romantic aspect is the primary focus of the story --with some action and clever comedy elements combined-- yet no character lives in the shadow of their relationship. We got four very distinctive, fleshed out and independent personalities with their own goals and motives, that could stand alone and still keep the show entertaining.Acting-wise, the characters are uniquely portrayed and all the actors deserve praise for rising to the challenges and demands their roles present. I will commend First a little more for his performance, only because his character's portrayal heavily depended on micro-expressions and affective flexibility; something I consider really difficult and he does exceptionally.
The show is not flawless and it might have a few loose ends here and there, but it is a very enjoyable and fun ride and I do recommend it to anyone who will watch it for what it is. If you expect a deep mafia drama plot, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you're also looking for a cute, fluffy series of green and red flags, you won't enjoy this series guaranteed. This show embraces the grey. It doesn't follow a moral code and no character falls under the category of the good or the bad guy. The duality of the series, is what makes it stand out from the stack of bls.

Warm and Cosy
A series that doesn't lack anything compared to any of the romantic queer dramas produced by bigger companies. Set in the nostalgic 90s, the story captures well the innocence and simplicity of those times, with a solid premise that blends romance and dramatic elements together, giving a sense of realism and authenticity. However, for me, the story didn't climax as much as it could have. I feel the build-up prepared you for something bigger to happen, but the storytelling remained somewhat safe, without delving too deeply into certain issues, which might as well have been the show's intention.Regarding the characters, they were very lovable and well written. Each had distinct personalities, yet they fit well together, and the portrayal of their friendship was heart warming. As for the romantic dynamics, all the pairings had good chemistry, and most importantly, no character was just an extension of their romantic life. Love is part of them, but not the core of their personality. In terms of the acting, it was good overall and the cast performed their roles well.
In conclusion, I do recommend this series to people looking for slow burn romance. While the show itself didn't make a significant impact on me as a viewer, it left me with a positive impression and I enjoyed the journey. A lot of care was put into this series and it will keep you interested throughout all ten episodes without becoming tiresome.

Went in one ear and out the other..
I feel it did start on the right foot and had a smart editing, but somewhere along the way they lost it with non substantial moments and plotlines that didn't develop or evolved the characters to make them multidimensional. And it's damn shame, because close to the end, this series showed what this drama could have been if it had better writing. It actually gave me one of the best and most heartbreaking back stories I've ever seen in a bl drama. I can't help but praise Mark for his performance as well. He is an A-class actor that managed to shine even in a series as this one. Don't get me wrong, this show was cute and I loved Mark and Ohm's chemistry, but if it actually focused on properly building up its characters and had less episodes, this would have turned into a brilliant mini series. As for the side story, it was the biggest mess. It offered absolutely nothing. It was frustrating and complicated, but not complex or deep in any way. It took unnecessary time and space.
I will recommend it to people who just want something cute to pass their time, but for those who aren't interested, episode 10 alone will pull at your heartstrings. It can actually stand as an episode of its own and if I could rate it individually, it would get almost a perfect score from all aspects.

The Most Romantic Series of The Year!
That's what they promised in the trailer and they kept their word. From start till finish, this series, above anything else, is deeply romantic. It's the old-fashioned romance you'll find in novels, which may sound cliché or cheesy by modern standards, but it's also so charming and pure and very fitting for a period piece. The costumes, the cultural and political references along with the careful attention to detail, crafted a really strong and authentic world, successfully maintaining the illusion of a true period setting.Despite the series' main focus being on the more serious themes, clever humour and light hearted moments have been naturally incorporated into the story, without feeling out of place. All the characters are multidimensional with their own goals and motives, as well as their own unique sense of humour, which makes them more charming and lovable. Great, Inn, Aou and Boom did an amazing job portraying their roles and delivering a wide range of emotions. Even the smaller characters contributed more to the plot than just being a comedic relief --like they usually are-- and gave heart to the series.
However, as good as this show was, it would have been amazing, had it had more episodes. It's among the few BL series that could have sustained multiple seasons, without getting tiresome. Many plotlines, close to the end, got a bit rushed to wrap up the series neatly with no loose ends, resulting in less depth and emotional impact than it could have achieved.
Overall, I definitely recommend this show to people who enjoy period dramas and romantic stories.

Wasted Potential
An interesting premise with strong and likable characters, but with unfortunately poor execution. Before anything else let me say that Ohm and Leng delivered as a couple. Their chemistry was present and you could see their effort, but the writing failed from all aspects. The build up was missing. Many things were rushed, resulting to half-assed character development, plot missteps and after a point not story left to tell. They tried to merge romance with action, but there was imbalance. The romance was too much and the action was too little, with none of them ending up good. If they have taken their time to properly explore the characters and not stray from the original plot this would turn into a totally different show that could still maintain its romantic and fluffy side. Alternatively, if they wanted to maintain a fast pace, turning it into a mini series would also work.As for the acting, it was fine for for the most part and I appreciated the cinematography and some interesting musical choices.
Overall, it's an okay series to spend your time with, but nothing really memorable for me. I would give it a chance just to get a taste of Ohm and Leng as a pairing if you're curious, but also for Ohm Thipakorn. I think he did very well.

It could have, should have, but didn't..
For starters, we are not talking about a BL, but a drama, that bares some of the exaggerated soap opera characteristics and features queer elements for a major part of it. Of course, being a series of 2018, do expect a lot of outdated notions and false terminology* included --regarding someone's sexuality-- that affect the narrative to a certain degree. However, given that there are still people who think that way, you could say that this show, despite being old, it's representative of that part of society and can still work as a realistic aspect. The series as a whole, surely is entertaining. It has an interesting premise and the episodes will keep your attention, but after a point it felt a bit repetitive and draggy, it became kinda tiresome. The character development was neglected for the sake of more "glamorous" scenes. I would love if the initial focus, which was the big brother and his journey to reconnect with his family, remained and the story delved more into the emotional aspect, exploring the family bonds, instead of being brushed off and underdeveloped. It lost a lot of its substance after a point, for me, hence my mediocre score.
The acting I'd say was really good. It was probably the best part of these series and all the actors did justice to their roles.
Overall, I recommend this show, to anyone who doesn't mind watching unhealthy relationship dynamics. Mind you that there are a lot of toxic and abusive behaviours throughout its course, that could be triggering. The writing is a bit messed up, but it's still a fine drama with even some comedic elements to enjoy your time.
*keep in mind that what appears as false terminology, could also stem from cultural differences or linguistic concepts that can't be accurately translated into English, resulting to confusion.
P.S. You won't find this series with eng subs by the official "GMM25Thailand" channel. Search for the YouTube user " Roop Thong BL Universe" instead.

A Happy Pill
A very sweet and innocent high school series with neither the story nor the characters standing out that much or having a significant impact to me as a viewer at least. The plot development is consisted of either fast problem resolutions or sub plots that don't really contribute to the story. The series could have certainly benefit from a lesser number of episodes or alternatively by exploring the characters more, outside of their relationship, so they could get fleshed out properly. As for the young actors, they did well. I found all the pairings well matched, but I'd say in terms of story and development, the main couple of Kit and Shane, was the strongest and most interesting to watch. The character of Shane was the best in terms of writing, for me, and I enjoyed Luke's acting style the most.
Having said all that, I do recommend the series to anyone who wants to take a break from heavy dramatic shows and relax. It's well made, with consistent writing and good direction, and the amount of cuteness and fun moments in this show is literally healing and heart warming.
