Asami Mitsuhiko Series 20 (2005)

Reporter Asami Mitsuhiko visits Kyoto to cover the history of a curse linked to vengeful spirits. At Sudo Shrine, Mitsuhiko is handed a film by a young woman, Shigemi. Before he can tell her, “This must be a mistake,” she runs off. As Mitsuhiko rushes into the street to chase her, he narrowly avoids being hit by a car. The driver of the car is a beautiful woman named Fujiko. Heading to his next location, Shiramine Shrine, Mitsuhiko notices a man, Arisaka, who appears to be waiting for someone. Mitsuhiko overhears Arisaka on the phone arranging to meet someone at Kurodani Komyoji Temple at 8 p.m. Reading about Shiramine Shrine, Mitsuhiko realizes it is connected to Emperor Sutoku.
