New Asami Mitsuhiko Series 3 (2018)

Asami Mitsuhiko, a travel reporter, set out for Kochi to cover the legends of the Heike fugitives. On the ferry to Shikoku, he encountered Hashimoto Katsuya (Kaneda Akio), a former police officer traveling alone, and the newlywed couple Inada Noriyoshi and Moeko, who were on their way to visit the husband’s family. After disembarking, Asami made his way to Fujinokawa, a secluded village of Heike descendants nestled in the mountains overlooking the eternal Shimanotogawa River. On the way, he met Inada Sawa, a descendant of the Heike. In Fujinokawa, Asami was initially treated with suspicion by Sawa’s grandfather, Inada Hironobu, but thanks to Sawa’s quick thinking, the misunderstanding was resolved.
