Following the dissemination of information and allegations on social media concerning the "Hongsawadi" series, alleging plagiarism or adaptation of the comic "Ayutthaya Eyawadi," Channel One 31 would like to clarify the facts for accurate understanding as follows:

Channel One 31 would like to clarify that after the "Mae Yiu" series aired, Channel One 31 discussed with Ms. Sirilak Srisukon, the scriptwriter, to continue writing a story set in the Ayutthaya period. Ms. Sirilak suggested the story of King Naresuan and the Crown Prince. Although they were destined to engage in a duel, the fact that King Naresuan was taken captive to Hongsawadi at a young age makes it possible that the two were close. Furthermore, after the duel, there is a legend of building a stupa for the Crown Prince, which is unusual for an enemy. Therefore, it is believed that the two had a bond since childhood, not just were enemies. Thus, the idea arose to adapt events from that historical period into the series. Let's tell the story from another perspective (similar to the approach taken with "Mae Yiu"), that if the two monarchs were close friends, like siblings, but ultimately had to fight each other for their respective lands, it would be a very interesting topic because it presents a human drama issue. Channel One 31 approved this project.

Ms. Sirilak then continued to develop this project and conducted further research, adhering to the important principle of appropriate interpretation, as it concerns real historical figures, which is sensitive in terms of beliefs and respect. She found the animated series "Ayutthaya Eyawadi," which had some concepts similar to the historical information about King Naresuan and Prince Maha Uparaja. Channel One 31 then assigned Ms. Sirilak to contact the creators of "Ayutthaya Eyawadi" to inform them of their intention to develop a similar project based on the historical events of King Naresuan and Prince Maha Uparaja, and to negotiate purchasing the copyright from the animated series creators to avoid future problems, even though Channel One 31 will not be producing the series based on the animated story. "Ayutthaya Eeyawadi" is also included, which the cartoon creators are pleased to acknowledge.

However, the cartoon is a fictional interpretation in a parallel world and presents a same-sex relationship, while the series "Hongsawadi" refers to real historical figures. Therefore, the interpretation must be within appropriate boundaries, considering sensitivities in many dimensions. The presentation must be done with the utmost caution and respect, which the creators of the "Ayutthaya Eeyawadi" cartoon understand and acknowledge.

Nevertheless, after discussions, both parties agreed that the approach and scope of the content in the cartoon and the series are different. When the cartoon creators learned that Channel One 31 would not use the name and storyline from the cartoon, it was agreed that there would be no need for a copyright sale, and compensation for the time spent on discussions has been settled. The discussions were polite, transparent, and ended with a good understanding.
