Peach and Me

Did not meet my expectations.............

(Note: I have no hate whatsoever on the actors and this review is entirely on the show) Me and thee was such a great show, a show that really had me laughing and genuinely enjoyed with the progressive romance. So I expected more from PAM to be more of a romance with a slight comedy and even the trailer shows that theepeach was all domestic and stuf. So that's what I expected.........

I might get hate from saying this but first off I know that there will be 4 couples in total, so even before ep 1 I was really worried how they can balance the four couples so as expected they did not (Lmfao 😭). Even We Are was more balance than this show. Tbh I wanted more Theepeach, like maybe I'm okay with a lot of couples but only if they show some domestic and sweet and more intimate scene other than ep 1. Not saying I wanted something similar like corn but I wanted more make-out sessions, a proper cuddle (not a side hug or cuddle ahahhaha), explore more dating stuff, play with the kids. Just all that mellow or typical romance stuff. But I feel like they focus more on comedy or image of the characters which is dissapointing.

Also for ep4 in all honesty it was a let down like why tf did we not get a kiss scene or even a peck. Also why is Peach acting a bit shock when your lit HUSBAND is going to rest his head on your shoulder. I genuinely felt second hand embarrassment with that scene. I did not expect they will do the snoring or nc scene but come on not even a makeout scene like I expected something similar like Me and Thee (peach house bed scene).

But Overall I truly love this characters but the execution and overall romance was a bit of a let down. I hope Pondphuwin next show would be similar to Nlmg where the director really show the tension and intimacy between the characters. Also kinda wanted it to be a serious or angst show so they can showcase or challenge their acting skills while also exploring and showcasing more variations of their emotions.

I don't know how they managed to ruined an already above mid series. I thought me and thee was above average then saw this. Like how.
Again should've fired the whole screen writing team. The plots is all over the place. Unnecessarily villianized mok. Presenting him somesort of misogynist in the first scene when mira was revealed.
When they introduced mira, they could've written her so much better. But showed her as an incompetent female bodyguard. As if women don't suffer from discrimination in work places already enough, the writers said let's make it worse.

Tawan aran were like props, didn't add anything to the plot.
The last ep. Man idk. I liked it also kinda didn't at the same time.


Supposedly romcom but I can count on my fingers the amount of time it made me laugh.

Though one thing the last ep proved is that nobody can play Thee better than pond. He's the real thee.
Phuwin may need a bit more training to convey certain emotions right. William is still new actor. I'll hope he does even better in the future.
Est's acting was the best in my opinion. His micro expressions were spot on.


Overall I didn't have any issue with the acting. The cast was phenomenal. The acting was really good. But the story and plot was a let down factor for me.

I'm going to be honest

First of all I love gmmtv cps and My ult is PondPhuwin but the last episode is my problem. Mat was exceptional and I have no doubt and hate towards the writers and direction. I love p'X and his work in Mat and Pam. First 3 episodes for Pam was good, I couldn't find anything lacking.But who thought and approved the story for the last ep? Idk....
Which married couple act like that, that too newly married couple. Words without body language made it look very shallow. Don't come at me that all I was expecting is nc and kiss scenes. We were expecting pure and natural romance which PondPhuwin can and have delivered in the past. The story as a Married couple it's the perfect stage for them... But nah. They looked more like teenagers first time carefully in love than grown married couple. And my EmiBonnie as MiraPlub deserved better

Me and Peach Season 2 : Where Did the Spark Go?

Having enjoyed the first season despite its flaws, I was excited for Season 2 to serve as a breezy summer comedy. The trailer set high expectations with a hilarious premise, and while the show delivers on humor, it fails where it counts most: believable romance.
While the core issue stems from Phuwin’s total lack of investment, looking self-conscious, overly focused on his hair, and acting like the role is a mere obligation, the director is mostly to blame here. It is the director's job to guide actors, build chemistry, and refuse to print takes where a lead looks completely checked out. Instead, the direction allowed Peach to come across as actively disliking his spouse rather than just being reserved and introverted.
Peach acts completely averse to P'Kian: he looks awkward sitting next to him, reluctant to be touched, and devoid of warmth. Even during pivotal attempts at affection, like the pool gesture, the weak direction leaves the interaction feeling unconvincing, making you genuinely wonder if Peach even wants to be married.
Physical intimacy isn't strictly necessary for a good plot, but if kiss scenes are filmed, they need to show genuine affection. Here, they are so stiff that P'Kian carries all the romantic weight while Peach merely endures it.
To make matters worse, the narrative wastes time on a bloated subplot with Mira and Peach's sister that feels completely shoehorned in as a transparent show promo. In contrast, side characters Rome and Mok demonstrate a natural, convincing love that proves screen warmth was entirely possible.
Ultimately, while the comedic plot has its moments, the main dynamic feels so cold and dry that the season comes off more like a quick cash grab than a genuine follow-up.

this is honestly one of the most disappointing series ever. i had high expectations after watching MAT because it was genuinely so good. this is exactly why i’m not a big fan of special episodes sometimes, because they end up ruining the overall quality of a series.

i really hoped we’d get to see the kids build a close relationship with their parents, but instead, they kept introducing so many actors into a series that already had only four episodes. the kids honestly seemed better off at the orphanage if we’re not counting the money they received. 😭

what disappoints me the most is how little they actually showed the parents bonding with the kids. that was one of the things i was looking forward to the most, and they barely gave us any of it. such a wasted opportunity, especially after how good MAT was.

OVERALL UNNECESSARY

Had many cute and funny moments but overall felt unnecessary and ultimately left me dissappointed. The sequel felt more like a bunch of moments put together rather than an actually plot.

TheePeach:
I wanted more of them being domestic husbands taking care of their kids but the writers seemed to forget about their children and TheePeach barely interacted with them which was very disappointing. I think LookPlub interacted more with them than their own dads.

MokRome:
it was lovely to see them finally together but them breaking up then getting back together pretty quickly afterwards felt so pointless as there was no time to actually develop that plot line.

TawanAran:
Pretty irrevelvant in this special and I never cared for this couple even in the original series as Tawan was an awful person. I’d rather they not end up together but Perthsanta is too popular of a ship for gmmtv to let that happen so instead Tawan had a total 180 personality shift and is suddenly the perfect boyfriend. I honestly would’ve been fine if they never showed up in the special eps at all.

MiraPlub:
Very cute and I love emibonnie. With only 4 episodes there’s very little time to actually develop any relationship between these characters so they instead just suddenly like each other so it was hard for me to really care about this couple as there’s no time to get emotionally invested in them.

How can you do an special that it's purely fanservice NOT VERY FAN SERVICING?

So, I think that in the end (and I'm very sad to say this) Peach and Me was very bad. It wasn't good at all, and nothing worked well.

I was eager to see them living their happy life, with funny moments and amusing things happening. In the end, we don't even have a proper narrative in those four episodes. It's just pure fanservice, as specials often are and that's okay! What's absurd is that it was fanservice done badly. I really hate this.

I don't think it's a good special, and I don't think it's a good gift to the fans. It is poorly written and poorly directed. I really kind of hate everything about it, even the secondary couples. It was purely fanservice and funny scenes, but they weren't even good or fun. In the end, I would prefer to live without it... maybe we can just ignore that it exists.

Also RomeMok was a mess. A awful mess. And they wasted my girl Emi time to make her do Mira when MiraPlub was just a bunch of nothing.

IT'S SO SAD bcs Me and Thee was quite THEEE SERIEEES for me and honestly it's so hard to fumble a special sequel... but they did it LOL.

The goodbye they deserved

I really liked the idea of giving Me and Thee one final chapter, and I think these four episodes did a good job of bringing the story to a close. It never felt like a separate drama, but rather the ending these characters deserved. Seeing them again felt comforting, and it was nice to spend a little more time with people I'd already grown attached to. Their chemistry was still as natural as ever, and the emotional moments landed because I already cared about their journey. Of course, with only four episodes, everything had to move a little faster, and there were moments I wished had been explored a bit more. Still, as a spin-off and conclusion, I think it achieved exactly what it set out to do. It gave me the closure I was hoping for while reminding me why I enjoyed these characters so much in the first place.

SO MUCH FUN!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!

This season had me cackling and jumping—dare I say, more than season 1. EmiBonnie slayed as always. I am so smitten with the WilliamEst roles that it made me a little sad seeing Rome take over Arseni's company.

And THE CAMEOS??? OH MY GOD!!
TayNew hilariously matched the freak, but JimmySea?? NO WAY!!! Jimmy's disciplined look had me rolling. JuniorMark were the only ones who gave me a familiar vibe similar to Peach and Thee. Mark is nearly perfect for Phuwin's Peach role, in a font. And I think Junior could actually try pulling off Thee's role, lol. >< It's so fun to imagine!

Ultimately, I ENJOYED THIS SO MUCH!!

TOO SLOW *crying emoji*

When I said it was too slow, it wasn't about the pace of the story; it was about the movements and the dialogue. Like, the movements were too stiff, and they didn't look natural. People said that the chemistry was kind of lacking, and they were talking about intimate scenes. I lowkey agreed, but I think the intimate scenes were actually in the right amount but like I said, their movements were too stiff, and watching them made me wonder if they would feel sore holding those positions. I even watched it at 1.5x speed, and it felt right.

Additionally, I expected this mini sequel was going to focus on Peach, Thee, and their children, but they just kept adding new characters (yes, Mira, and I think their love story was unnecessary). In the previous season, the screen time distribution for these side couples was better, but now they added more couples even though the episodes were shorter. It didn't make sense.

Overall, it was enjoyable.

Thee is once again a legend but this time I needed a little more

I enjoyed, but I can’t hide the disappointment in the romance area like…it was SO lacking and it shouldn’t have been like that. TheePeach, for example, are married but it didn’t feel that way and I felt that their romantic scenes were lacking, which shouldn’t have occurred. Why the children’s didn’t call Peach dad? Their family dynamic was so odd for me. TheePeach not having a kiss in the last episode was DIABOLICAL as well like what? I know this was only a special present to the fans but in my opinion they failed to give exactly what the fans wanted to see the most.

RomeMok’s romance shined a little more here compared to Me and Thee and I’m so happy to see more of them, I screamed in all their scenes, but tbh WilliamEst chemistry saved their whole dynamic and they could’ve bring much more if the director was a little better in the romance perspective. Also their fight in EP2 was so unnecessary like come on it’s only 4 episodes, why waste time with unnecessary things that don’t even make sense for the characters itself?

PerthSanta and EmiBonnie were here for what exactly 😭 because obviously putting 4 couples in a 4 episode special wouldn’t work out too well. EmiBonnie’s scenes were…something. Like what was that washing hair scene in the last episode? 😭 I also don’t know what the production team was thinking putting so many sexist comments about Mira and even being said by Mira.

But, like I said, the director knows how to do comedy and Thee was funny (and dramatic) as usual. He’s exactly what we see in Me and Thee, or worse lol. I also enjoyed his scenes with Rome, their bickering is pretty cute. The last episode featuring TayNew, ForceBook and JuniorMark was a nice surprise and it was really funny seeing them portray TheePeach, especially Junior. I died laughing.

Overall I think if you really like Me and Thee and the characters here you’ll enjoy watching this. But the lacking of good romantic and intimate scenes was really a negative point that I can’t hide, especially when the characters are already together, and that’s why it’s a 7/10 for me.
