K-Drama
Lawyer Wen Xi unexpectedly discovers that she and Yan Zhao were switched at birth. After being reunited with her birth family, she is forced into a marriage with business tycoon Shang Chen due to family interests. The couple begins as strangers in a "contractual marriage." Wen Xi must contend with her adoptive mother's favoritism, her adoptive sister Yan Zhao's constant scheming, and the challenges of her legal work. The rigid yet deeply affectionate Shang Chen steadfastly protects his wife, gradually melting Wen Xi's heart with his meticulous care. Through mutual adjustment, they lower their defenses and become honest with each other, moving from a respectful relationship to a mutual commitment. The Sweet Wen Xi-Shang Chen Version
I watched this last year and waited this to have MDL page so i can write my own review. Personally i am sucker for marriage after love plot and like other adaptation which is quite rare for me to liking the script. For this Wen Xi-Shang Chen has most different stories compare to other versions, this drama lacks of angst feeling of the couple, it feels like mundane couple with less of conflict.Although it has a slow-burn title, it takes a fast-paced, high-sweetness route. ML and FL have mutual affection almost from the beginning. And the brother of FL only shown in the last 10 minutes of this drama.
Chen Fang Tong and Huang Haowen acting are quite decent at this adaptation But for me Huang Haowen's Shang Chen lack something that other version had the cold and mature that other version had maybe this drama want to interpert the sweetness of marriage. Chen Fang Tong didn't has the aloofness feeling for the FL. But the chemistry is still sufficient enough to watch.
The family conflict between FL and her real mother are lacking emotional feeling. It feels like mundane conversation.
The condom scene, it felt Huang Haowen tried held up his laughter.
The sweetness is very pleasant to watch. If you're prefer sweet version you could watch this.

A favorite version of this Story
A very healing drama i would say.Amazingly, I've seen similar dramas with this story but I could say that this is one of the best. Not only just Cheng Fangtong is the fl, but the ml is Huang Haowen, just the best, where they show the maturity of the characters. Their unique chemistry makes this story healing.
Also, the story is so good that they don't need exaggerated bed scenes just to make their chemistry good, but their actions and acting made this drama so good.
