This is a Republic-era piece, which I haven’t seen them do before, and it feels a bit unusual—but in a good way that makes you want to keep watching. The offbeat tone works almost like an indie film, where atmosphere and psychology take priority over strict linear coherence. The costumes and settings are visually striking and add meaningfully to the story, making it a beautiful watch overall.
