Gotetsu Fumito, an astrophysicist and associate professor specializing in black hole research, possesses a brilliant mind, though his genius sometimes leads those around him into darkness. Meanwhile, magazine reporter Kiriyama Hitoka is assigned by her editor-in-chief to cover wheelchair rugby and visits the powerhouse team “Shark Head.” Witnessing the intense physical clashes of the sport for the first time, she is overwhelmed by its power. On another day, Hitoka encounters a very different team—one lacking both motivation and unity. Once a strong contender, the now-struggling team “Blaze Bulls” is far from its former glory. It is at their practice ground that Gotetsu appears. The team’s head coach is his cousin, Hino Masami, who has told him the team is plagued with problems. Thrilled by the prospect of solving complex challenges, Gotetsu observes the practice and exclaims, “This is amazing!
