Joined TBS after graduating from Waseda University's First Literature Department of Drama. Debuted as director in 1999. "Summer Snow" and "GOOD LUCK !!" won the title back prize of The Television Drama Academy Awards. In recent years, she has also participated in activities at the Shimane Film Festival and the Izumo Theater Company at the call of Yoshinari Nishikori, a film director from Shimane.
