Upon falling into a pool and losing consciousness, Si Mao awakened. Over 40 years, the pain and redemption in love, friendship, betrayal, and murder have spared no one. Si Mao has been lying in a hospital bed unconscious for 40 years. His friends, who once shared a carefree youth with him, feel trapped by an invisible tether that keeps them bound. "Time" has altered the appearances and circumstances of everyone around him and transformed the city of Taipei in which they live, but it has not changed the fact that Si Mao is the center of their lives.
