An exceptional tale of true love
Ultimately, this was a story of the many ways true love can manifest. In the end, what makes love most authentic is how close it pushes a person to selflessness. The greatest act of love can be letting go. Simultaneously, it can be holding on. Whichever way pulled each character within the two respective relationships closer to selflessness, proved why one could truly say they were experiencing true love.I think what drives this theme further is it's ability to create hope, even if it's senseless. Chita and Ji may have died, but still I am able to cling to the hope that there is a place, a timeline, a seperate universe where they can be together without any hurt. Similarly, we may not know if James and Ken can spend an eternity together, but I truly hope that even if they can't do it conventionally, that James will keep finding Ken over and over, just as he did 200 years after their initial separation. The creation of these kinds of hope within a viewer proves that a true love was built amongst the characters.
Any telling that can turn me into a believing fool like this, is truly a story worth telling. Nour wasn't just it's cool concept and exceptional delivery, but also the beauty it offered beyond its covers and I am eternally grateful to have experienced that.

Vampiric Film Nour
I love vampires, so obviously I loved this. But what I loved most was there was romance yes, but there was also gore and body horror. As much as I loved ‘My Golden Blood’ this surpasses it because it had the rawness of what vampires are and should be portrayed as. Lustful, bloody, complex. As well as traumatic because damn. This covered all of that mixed in with the mystery. Also Ken and Chita are my favorite characters hands down. Their arks are so interesting to watch.

i'll miss this series.
watched the finale with my friend, again, and we were both joking and laughing throughout bcs we kept saying stupid shit even though like every 10 minutes she was on the verge of crying lmao.nour is such an amazing series with such an intriguing story and characters. the pacing is really great and the chemistry between each pairing is truly beautiful.
jamesken are so beautifully tragic in so many ways. i know a lot of people feel like ken decided too suddenly to stay alive but it wasn't unusual or unexpected nor was it something rushed or non-sensical for someone like him, it made so much sense as it lingered in his brain for so long and he kept thinking about it every time he saw james. james gave him a reason beyond being a nour to understand what it is to be a person and to live his life beyond just survival but for happiness and joy. boss and tongtong were so incredible and i cannot keep reiterating how amazing they were without just repeating myself. that last scene between them was just so gorgeous.
dr. ji and chita, mayhaps the most tragic out of all and definitely. at the end of the day, all they wanted was to be together and happily but i do have to say, it truly was their only way to remain together, that sequence of videos of them, dr. ji saying he wanted to continue dreaming and that everything with chita in it will always be good, gosh, they're just truly so tragic. there was no other way around it for them, dr. ji would've died, chita would've suffered even more if he hadn't turned him. then came the suffering from being nours and then for once, the silence of just them.
nin and rain were so adorable and equally as sad throughout the series, there's just something about knowing you love somebody who means so much to you the point where you worry that dating them would jeopardise your bond afterwards and then there's something about knowing full-well that worrying about the future or doing something for the reason to separate is just meaningless because yes, struggle comes but love still brings safety and joy.
at its core, i do feel like the series speaks so well of different types of love and what those types of love would do for one another. there's sacrifical love, intense love, betrayal yet love just never ends and love always defeats vengeance and pain.
i did dock half a star because i will always stand by no need to use AI, they didn't use it like other series but still, i would much rather prefer they didn't.
eitherway, the series was so interesting and so well-made, yes, it definitely has its flaws and imperfections, questions left unanswered, confusions around the ending, maybe rushed ending etc. but at the end of the day, it's definitely worth a check out - whether you like it or don't is also completely fine, at the end of the day, each series is made for people to enjoy or not, those who enjoy it can enjoy it and those who can't at least gave something different a try.
"actually, i think i've seen a rainbow up close before. really close. so close that it was right in front of my face."

THE BEST ONE SO FAR! <333
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!It was a 10/10 from start to finish I really like the plot, story, characters, and all about it. The whole thirsty for blood plot really good.
I feel bad for the ending though 😭 why did they have to die like that they deserve to live a life that was happy even though it was shown as a dream to give us rest and happiness for a second. 😢 AND WHY IS HE STILL STUCK ON THAT LOOP WHERE HE HAS TO WATCH THE PEOPLE HE LOVE DIE OVER AND OVER BECAUSE HE CAN NEVER DIE BUT HIS PARTNER CAN GROW OLD AND DIE 😭😢💔😔

First Impression: Nour
Overall: I'm intrigued with a unique premise. 10 episodes about 40 minutes each. Airing on WeTV https://wetv.vip/en/play/oesh7v03pj3v9ee/f4102iqt8a9-EP01%3A_NOURContent Warnings: there are major ones in the first 2 episodes, I'm keeping this spoiler free and if you start episode 1 at 13 min you can cut most (but not all) out
What I Liked
- unique premise/supernatural elements
- tension
Room For Improvement
- exposition/worldbuilding dump for the intro
- AI in the beginning of episode 1

Amazing series must watch it because
The story is amazing, the concept is now new but the way it is being present is and this story gives justice to the concept of immortality and those fantasy stuff .The casting is amazing and their acting is really something i would never have expected because it's soo good.
The story progression so far is really excellent like you'll never lose interest.
The chemistry between the main cast is fabulous 😍
Overall a 10/10 series

Good foundation
I'm really struggling with this series and i don't know why as it has a lot of elements i enjoy. I watched weekly originally, but paused at episode 5 to then watch the rest when series had finished, but i'm just not feeling the chemistry, the acting is good but i just find the romance rushed and forced, the story is repetitive and i'm not getting the pull to watch more.I want to finish it, but i think because a lot of people have overhyped it as a masterpiece, best show they've seen, it's actually making it harder for me to avoid feeling disappointed as i watch that i don't get the masterpiece feeling. So if your considering watching, maybe wait for some of the hype to die down, and watch with an open mind, as it is worth watching and the production have done a good job.
I will finish this show!

Not an easy watch, but kept you interested to the very end
This was overall a very mixed bag for me as a series.First the positive aspects which this series had many going for it. It's a high budget production, with well written murder plot that keeps you watching to the end and especially the actors all did a very good job with this one. In terms of just acting this might be one of the top BLs I have watched during this year. Additionally there are complex relationship arks that add depth to the main plot.
Now the negatives. First of all a general warning: this show is not for the faint hearthed. Towards the end, the plot turns quite dark and there are gore elements that could cause some people a lot of negative emotions. The show does give content warnings in the last few episodes, so check those before proceeding to watch, they are there for a reason.
Now for things that are just related to personal preferences: I liked the second couple more and considering how their story ends I already knew it was going to downgrade the show for me. I also think that Ken's and James relationship development needed bit more substance. The turn into a romantic relationship felt like it was just James deciding he wants Ken and next thing you know they are already together. The last episode felt very unbalanced with all the horrible stuff happening in the beginning, while the rest of episode felt like it dragged on for ages, until the main couple reunited. Additionally Chita's motives around for why he resulted in to doing, what he did trough the years he lived, needed more background story. Considering the severity of his actions, the one scene the show gave as the explanation didn't convince me as a viewer to feel his actions were justified or even understandable.
I'd say for a dark and horror BL fans this is a good recommendation if you can live with the content warnings related to the last few episodes of the show. I hope all the actors in this get another show, because for me the acting was the stand out from this series. With the progressively dark plot this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but as a murder/horror BL thriller it's still a very solid show. This was not perfect for me, but I know to a lot of people this will probably be a favorite.

Why All The Hate?
I’m officially hooked after the first two episodes of *Nour*! The storytelling pulled me in immediately, the acting feels natural and emotionally believable, and the characters already have me wanting to know more. I genuinely don’t understand the criticism about the actors’ appearances because I think they’re both incredibly handsome on screen, and their chemistry makes them even more attractive. The story follows James, a young police officer investigating mysterious fires and supernatural deaths, whose unusual ability to read people suddenly fails when he meets the enigmatic Captain Ken. Ken is secretly an immortal man carrying a centuries-old curse, and their investigation begins pulling them into a dark world where the lines between life, death, and the supernatural are blurred.
So far, this series has a strong story, talented actors, and plenty of potential. I’m excited to see where it goes!

Finally, A Thai Crime/Romance BL Actually Worth Watching!
This show blew my mind!!! 🔥I wasn’t even expecting to enjoy it when I decided to watch but guess who is hooked now?!! If you said me, you are absolutely right!!!
This BL series feels like a dream come true because I’ve always prayed for an ACTUAL Thai BL series like this one ever since we got Spare Me Your Mercy (which if you watched, you know errrr, it’s not so much of BL, I mean it is, but like it really isn’t)
So this one?!!! First two episodes really hit the spot for me. I have nothing but great things to say about this series. It’s definitely worth watching.
I’m too curious (so much that I can’t even wait for next Wednesday) to see how the story unfolds, especially after what happened at the end of the second episode.
Now you have two options, either join the watch train now, or wait for it to marinate and watch it later. BECAUSE this is a must-watch for sure!
Also, just to add it’s not perfect, just like every other Thai BL, but good effort here (even though one thing that kinda stood out as a flaw would be the cinematography quality but errrr it’s not a big deal)
(As usual, I’ll edit as I watch)
