The Journey to Killing You Season 2 Episode 3

i feel like the one behind the VOID is Hikari…

i feel like the one behind the VOID is Hikari Hanao & he wants Kirii's group to come rescue Kataoka, expediting his & his groups extinction/takeover. also this another way of dealing with the OG Yakuza groups & doing things outside of their rules. find it weird that his father, let such a reckless person take over something that existed for generations, knowing full well who his son is & what he is like. knowing he will destroy what he built with his own hands or what generations before him built. weird plot line if u ask me - but there's a lot kinda off... logic wise, when watching this season IMO. *******************************i get that having left the yakuza lifestyle neither Kataoka nor Odajima have any subordinate's to call on, so they winging it - & that's why Odajima doesn't tell useless Matsuyama to take a hike. but going in crazed isn't helping things. so now he's gonna be tied up with Kataoka, that a win?!?? don't get the logic there or why after he stormed the VOID's stronghold he not go after the headman & spent all his strength on the minion's even when they were down & out - like i said the writing is just off (& it's not like this a long BL, we only got 3 more eps to go).

An Unruffled Kataoka and a Restless Odajima

Kataoka is kidnapped, and Odajima races around the neighborhood searching for him. Meanwhile, Kataoka seems strangely relaxed for someone being held captive. The contrast between them is what makes this episode fun.Odajima’s stern, brooding expression conveys his worry for Kataoka without needing words. I particularly like these quiet moments with him. There are power struggles between yakuza groups and competing interests in a redevelopment project, but what I’m curious about is how Kataoka will handle this mess. Even with everything going on, there’s an amusing quality to the drama that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy. And the chairman of Kotokukai certainly has an unforgettable sense of fashion! His look reminds me of Muzan Kibutsuji from Demon Slayer.（笑）
