Okay, this show is painfully slow, but I have to admit the subject matter is different than what I've usually watched with J-dramas. That said, I had to stop to come write about this episode. Mitsuru abandon's his wife for a year and then has the nerve to question their relationship to deflect any feelings of guilt. At the very least they were having an emotional affair, otherwise, why not tell your spouses about it. I get the cultural differences, but they are doing too much talking. I would have divorce papers ready, and no explanation would have been required.
