Kosei has been confessed to countless times solely because of his looks. Even when he rejected people, they would sometimes post his rejection on social media without his permission. Again and again, his feelings were ignored. Exhausted from being treated as nothing more than an “ikemen,” Kosei carried a deep loneliness, feeling that no one truly understood who he was. One day, while his classmates teased Kosei for their own amusement, only Haru stood up for him, saying that “Kosei’s feelings are what matter most.” That simple act of kindness saved Kosei in a way Haru never realized. From then on, Kosei secretly watched Haru whenever he could, gradually falling for the awkward yet caring way Haru treated others. His feelings eventually turned into love, and on the day the seats were rearranged, he could no longer hold himself back and confessed to Haru. Back in the present, preparations for the school festival are reaching their final stages. The four of them gather at Haru’s house to work late into the night. On their way home after going shopping for supplies, Haru opens up to Kosei about a painful experience from middle school, when his confession was revealed to be a lie and he was publicly mocked in front of everyone. Because of that experience, Haru wants to believe Kosei’s feelings, but he admits that he cannot completely trust them and is afraid of giving him an answer. Kosei accepts his feelings and gently reassures him, saying, “I’ll wait as long as it takes. You don’t have to force yourself to give me an answer.” Late that night, the two continue working on the festival preparations alone. Overcome by sleepiness, Haru dozes off with his head resting on Kosei’s shoulder. Kosei instinctively leans in as if to kiss him, but stops himself at the last moment because he does not want to make Haru uncomfortable. Instead, he quietly lets him sleep. The morning of the school festival finally arrives. But Haru suddenly collapses with a high fever of 38.5°C. After receiving a call from Haru’s older brother, Ten, Kosei is left speechless by the unexpected news. The school festival that the two had been looking forward to is about to begin in a way neither of them could have imagined. (Source: Japanese = FOD || Translation = kisskh)

well glad Mayama's traumatic past wasn't…

well glad Mayama's traumatic past wasn't shared with Asamiya & he asked for time to come to terms with Asamiya's confession which is totally valid. also seeing why Asamiya feel for Mayama - a plot that i've seen in other BL's so nothing novel but cute all the same. still the vibe is very slow paced & i wont lie not hooked or that curious how this gonna turn out cause everything kinda predictable. for a sec thought Mayama's brother would become a hurdle but doesn't seem like it - oh well time will tell
