The episode depicts the sweet and happy summer vacation of Asamiya and Mayama, who have now become a couple. Every morning, Asamiya goes to pick Mayama up and takes him to his part-time job, allowing them to enjoy plenty of couple-like moments together. They hug inside the elevator, and Mayama unexpectedly surprises Asamiya with a kiss when they part, showing that their feelings for each other are growing deeper. However, their schedules continue to clash because of summer classes and part-time jobs, and they are unable to keep their promise to go to the summer festival together. Meanwhile, Mayama starts working at his part-time job as a mascot-costume staff member at the local Tanabata Festival. Asamiya arrives at the festival, walking around with a beautiful woman named Koshiki, his arm linked with hers. Seeing how close they appear, Mayama mistakenly assumes that Koshiki is Asamiya’s girlfriend and becomes anxious that perhaps he was only someone Asamiya used to fill his loneliness. At the festival, Mayama also runs into Kagami and the others, who had hurt him in middle school with a fake confession prank. They begin teasing him again and try to force him into going on a date with Misaki. This time, however, Mayama clearly expresses his own wishes for the first time, telling them that he does not want anything to do with them anymore. Asamiya rushes to the scene and protects Mayama. He stops Kagami, saying, “I’m Mayama’s friend. I’m different from you guys,” before embracing him. The bond between Mayama, who finally stood up to the people who had tormented him in the past, and Asamiya, who supports him, grows even stronger. Later, it is revealed that Koshiki is actually Asamiya’s older sister. She had only pretended to be his girlfriend in order to drive away women who were pursuing Asamiya. The misunderstanding is cleared up, much to Mayama’s relief. The two then write their wishes on Tanabata strips and head to a hilltop known only to the locals, where they can watch the fireworks. It is the same place Mayama once fled to after being hurt by the fake confession prank. But now, with Asamiya by his side, the painful memory is transformed into a happy one. Under the fireworks, they share another kiss, and Asamiya invites Mayama to his home, saying, “I don’t want to send you home yet today.” The episode ends with the feeling that their relationship is about to take another step forward, leading into the final episode. Feel so bad for Mayama atp💔

Asamiya is a little selfish for his own emotions and unaware that Mayama also has different thoughts too. "I admire you like a local mascot" and now that mascot is staring at you and your sister, Congrats💔💔

was pleasantly surprised that Mayama stood-up…

was pleasantly surprised that Mayama stood-up to his bullies & even stopped himself to rushing to conclusions regrading Asamiya & the girl he was with. compared to the start he has grown by leaps & bounds & i a so proud of me.... but the invite to Asamiya house was a bit too rushed IMO. they just started dating. & yeah Asamiya being a teen full of hormones of course he wanted to be with Mayama in everyway possible - but idk to me it was too soon & idk if Mayama was ready for that. but will find out in the next ep. cute ep
