Episode Title: Am I Your First?
After the kiss at the aquarium, Suzuki panics and runs away after saying, “Let’s pretend that never happened!” The next day, the two are painfully awkward around each other at school, unable to act normally. Seeing Serizawa become increasingly frustrated, sulky, and pushy because he has lost his composure, the cheerful group of students decides to hold an emergency “class meeting” at a family restaurant! Suzuki turns bright red when the kiss is revealed in front of everyone, but with neither of them able to be honest about their feelings, can they actually make up? Meanwhile, Suzuki overhears a rumor that “Serizawa has liked someone since their first year”...!?

Suzuki writes BL and reads BL, yet somehow he is still completely clueless! 😂 Even an idiot could tell that Serizawa likes him. How can someone who knows BL so well be this blind when he is literally living in one? 😂I also absolutely love Serizawa’s supportive group of friends. It can be so hard to find friends who genuinely accept you for who you are without judging you, so I love seeing him surrounded by people who support him. We’re already getting Love Is Better the Second Time Around Season 2 currently airingSchool Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close To Season 2 on October 18 andWhen It Rains, It Pours Season 2 on November 5.Japanese BL is really feeding us with all these second seasons! 🇯🇵❤️Now I just hope this series gets a Season 2 next year too. I would love to see Suzuki and Serizawa’s relationship continue and follow their lives after high school.

Serizawa believed that the kiss had finally revealed his feelings, only for Suzuki to call it a mistake and ask him to forget it. After that, Suzuki avoids his eyes and barely speaks to him, leaving the usually confident Serizawa completely lost. The family-restaurant “class meeting” with their friends was hilarious. Everyone can clearly see that Serizawa is in love—except the one person he desperately wants to understand.Using Suzuki’s love of BL novels was Serizawa’s way of getting closer to a quiet and sensitive boy. Ironically, that approach may have made Suzuki believe that everything, including the kiss, was only part of Serizawa’s interest in BL.Serizawa’s feelings are obvious to everyone, yet they still cannot reach Suzuki. This misunderstanding is both frustrating and painfully sweet.
