Juui Dolittle

If you liked the medical part of "Surgeon Bong Dal Hee" then you might like "Juui Dolittle" too (both deals with surgeries and treats patients).
Major difference: Juui Dolittle is about veterinarians/pets, while Surgeon Bong Dal Hee is about doctors/humans. In SBDL there's also romance.

Akari, who evacuated with a cat when earthquake struck, meets Kanoko, who also took her cat with her at the evacuation site. Jin, who lived in the same apartment, also loves big cats, and the three become close to each other through cats and eventually live together.

Despite a reputation as a brusque and ill-mannered man, Tottori Kenichi, a.k.a. “Dolittle”, is also a brilliant veterinarian with the habit of asserting that “Veterinary practice is a business.” Outwardly, he is quick to excoriate pet owners for their utter lack of understanding and careless treatment of their pets but invariably finds himself rescuing not only the “voiceless animals” whose pain and anguish he deeply understands, but even heals the spiritual afflictions of their owners. The result is a moving drama that brings into bold relief the issues that pet owners and veterinarians face and evoking the sacred importance of life.

Gao Renjie, Mei Xiaoyang and Li Shimin work at the same animal hospital. Through work, they meet Donghua and her two friends, Baibai and Yawen, and romantic sparks and heated affairs soon follow. The problem is of the three, only Li Shimin is single. To help his friends, he comes up with different tactics to deal with the wives.

This is a coming-of-age comedy that will make you laugh and cry a little, depicting the course of Watanabe Kosuke's love life, which cannot be fully depicted in the main story, and his growth as a veterinary nurse, along with the unique staff of the veterinary clinic!
