Disney+'s original series A Shop for Killers Season 2 has unveiled the first character stills featuring Kim Hye Joon.

A Shop for Killers follows Ji An (Kim Hye Joon), who, after enduring a grueling succession, has become the new head of the shopping mall. Reunited with her uncle Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), she launches a counterattack against Babylon.

Season 2 will finally unveil the hidden story behind Jin Man, the uncle believed to be dead, and the path he takes after his return. The newly released stills further pique curiosity, showing Jin Man preparing a counterattack alongside the Murthehelp squad while orchestrating a much larger plan.

The character stills capture Ji An's transformation. Once a naive girl who struggled to survive relentless attacks from assassins without even knowing why she was being targeted, Ji An has now fully grown into the charismatic head of Murthehelp.

One still shows Ji An confronting a tense situation with injuries to her face, and another shows her hiding behind a door while vigilantly scanning her surroundings with sharp eyes. We also see her in a black suit, her cold, composed expression highlighting her aura and teasing the striking new side of Ji An as she returns transformed.

Kim Hye Joon commented, "If Season 1 showed Ji An as a young girl, then in Season 2, you'll get to see more of her instincts as a killer beginning to emerge more strongly."

Speaking about the new season, which escalates into an all-out battle with the vastly expanded Babylon, Kim Hye Jun teased, "You'll see more varied gun action than before." She added, "I spent a great deal of time practicing tactics and stances."

Action director Jeon Jae Hyung also spoke about the extensive preparation, saying, "We placed a strong emphasis on firearm handling, stances, footwork, and shooting techniques." Talking about Kim Hye Joon, he shared, "Compared to when I first met her, she feels like a completely different person now. She's now a complete action actress."

A Shop for Killers Season 2 will premiere with Episodes 1 and 2 releasing on July 22, with two new episodes released every Wednesday. Stream it on Disney+ and Hulu (select regions).
