New Bai Lu-led urban drama unveils cast at launch ceremony
On July 24, the production team of SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop Season 2 unveiled its third teaser.
Flex X Cop Season 2 follows Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), who uses wealth and connections like cheat codes, and veteran detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae) as they team up to take down increasingly cunning criminals.
The teaser opens with Yoo Seong Won (Yoo Seung Ho), a new character introduced this season. Wearing a chilling smile across his blood-splattered face, he is shown as a sinister chaebol. Another scene shows him calmly saying, "The worst thing I've ever done? That's a secret."
The teaser then cuts to Jin Yi Soo, who lashes out at someone, saying, "We sent you to prison to become a decent human being, but you came back as nothing but trash," followed by Joo Hye Ra interrogating a suspect.
What's attention-grabbing are the intriguing and intense cases, including a mummified body discovered inside a suitcase, as well as kidnapping and murder cases. As they pursue the truth, Jin Yi Soo and Joo Hye Ra find themselves repeatedly thrown into dangerous circumstances. However, Joo Hye Ra's remark, "The perfect crime? There's no such thing," is followed by scenes of him throwing everything he has into taking down the villain, promising a thrilling sense of catharsis.
Flex X Cop Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on August 7. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+. Watch the teaser here.
