Ahn Hyo Seop stars as a young farmer in 'Sold Out on You'

Sold Out on You has unveiled new stills featuring Ahn Hyo Seop.

Sold Out on You follows perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee, aka Quail (Ahn Hyo Seop), and home shopping show host Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), who suffers from insomnia. 

In the drama, Ahn Hyo Seop plays Matthew Lee, a young farmer who also goes by the nickname "Mechoori" ("Quail"). Behind his prickly expression, Lee has a soft and gentle heart and spends his days busily carrying out tasks for the village elders.

Matthew Lee is cultivating the white flower nuri mushrooms, known as a "miracle ingredient" in the cosmetics industry. In addition to being a young farmer, he holds two other titles: CEO of a natural ingredient company and cosmetics R&D researcher. With his hands full resolving villagers' complaints, growing mushrooms, running a company, and developing cosmetics, curiosity is growing over what drives Matthew Lee to devote himself so completely to his work.

The stills capture moments from the day job of Matthew Lee, a farmer juggling three jobs around the clock. Completing the farmer look with a straw hat and a towel, Matthew Lee is shown driving a cultivator and tending mushrooms. Then, dressed in a shirt rather than work clothes and seated at a desk, he exudes the charisma of a natural ingredient company CEO. 

Expectations are high for Ahn Hyo Seop's performance as Matthew Lee in Sold Out on You, which marks his reunion with SBS following the popular medical drama Dr. Romantic Season 3. The K-drama is directed by Seoul Busters director An Jong Yeon. 

Sold Out on You will premiere on April 22. The K-drama will be streaming on Netflix.
