BTS member Park Ji Min continues his legacy as a helping hand to students.

On September 25, Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education shared with the media outlet Dispatch that Park Ji Min has made a generous donation to help students in North Jeolla Province. According to them, " A representative of Park Ji Min contacted us in July to arrange a scholarship donation of 100 million Korean won (approximately $75,000 USD)."

According to the report, Park Ji Min's father was the one who arranged and contacted the provincial office to process the donation. It was also revealed that the donation was deposited through the Love Scholarship Foundation account.

The scholarships will be awarded to elementary, middle, and high school students in North Jeolla Province to support both high-achieving students and those who are struggling financially. This is the sixth time that Park Ji Min has donated to local education offices. Since 2019, the BTS member has given 100 million won to each of the Busan, Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam education offices.

Aside from donating for education, Park Ji Min has consistently given a helping hand to Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, the Army’s Patriotism and Comradeship Fund, and more.

This year, Park Ji Min officially completed his military service. The BTS member was discharged on June 11, 2025, after beginning his mandatory service on December 12, 2023. That same month, he made a donation to the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education.

The year 2025 is significant for BTS, as all members have now completed their military duties. The group has confirmed that they are in the preparation stages for a new album, which they plan to release in the spring of 2026.

Park Ji Min made his debut in 2013 as the main dancer and lead vocalist of BTS.
