Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Marry My Husband actress Choi Gyu Ri is set to make her film debut.
On August 21, it was officially confirmed that Choi Gyu Ri will be starring in the upcoming Netflix original film Love Untangled.
Set in 1998, the romance film Love Untangled follows a 19-year-old girl who wants to straighten her curly hair before confessing to the most popular boy in school. She then gets entangled with a transfer student while in the process.
The upcoming film will be led by Shin Eun Soo, Gong Myung, Cha Woo Min, Yoon Sang Hyeon, Kang Mi Na, and Park Mi Sae.
In the film, Choi Gyu Ri will play Ma Sol Ji, the cheerful and lively best friend of the female lead, Park Se Ri. Ma Sol Ji will help bridge the gap for Park Se Ri's planned confession.
Love Untangled is the next work of director Namkoong Sun. He is best known for creating the works Time to Be Strong, Ten Months, Men, and more.
You can stream the new film exclusively on Netflix starting August 29, 2025. The film will be available for streaming worldwide.

Love Untangled will be Choi Gyu Ri's follow-up work after the hit 2024 K-drama Marry My Husband. In the series, she portrayed the role of Na In Woo's sister and Park Min Young's best friend at the office.
Choi Gyu Ri's follow-up project was supposed to be the Disney+ original K-drama Knock Off, but because of the main lead's controversy, the K-drama's premiere has been postponed. The K-drama's premiere was originally scheduled for earlier this year.
The actress started her acting career in 2021 through the series Uncle. Since then, she has been active and starred in the K-dramas Rookie Cops, Behind Every Star, and Battle for Happiness.
