Byun Yo Han undergoes bold transformation for 'The Journey to Gyeong-ju'
The Intern has unveiled the first stills featuring actress Han So Hee.
Korean remake of the Hollywood film of the same name, The Intern tells the story of Ki Ho (Choi Min Sik), a senior intern with 37 years of career experience, who joins the company of Sun Woo (Han So Hee), a CEO whose fashion business has become the industry's dark horse just three years after its launch. The film follows their office life as they overcome differences in generation and rank.
In the K-movie, Han So Hee plays Sun Woo, the CEO of Wootutu, a startup that has rapidly grown to attract attention in the fashion industry just three years after its founding.
Sun Woo is a highly capable CEO who has rapidly grown her company with her exceptional sense and strong drive. However, behind the success she has relentlessly pursued without ever stopping, both her work and personal life eventually become overloaded.

Then Ki Ho, someone with a personality completely opposite to hers, enters her life, and as the two begin to work together, they gradually begin to understand each other's worlds.
Han So Hee also expressed her anticipation for The Intern, saying, "After consecutively taking on genre projects, I'm excited to play a rounded role for the first time — one that can offer viewers a relatable sense of reality."

Choi Min Sik described Han So Hee as "clear, cheerful, and cool," sharing his impression of her on set. Director Kim Do Young also praised her ability to embody the character, saying, "Han So Hee's unique energy allowed Sun Woo to be born as an even more appealing character."
The Intern is coming September 16.
