Cha Eun Woo in talks for a new K-drama reportedly set in 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' universe
Choi Yun Ji has been confirmed to star alongside Lee Jong Suk in Iseop's Romance.
On August 11, Ace Factory, the production company behind the drama, stated, "Choi Yun Ji will appear in Iseop's Romance."
Iseop's Romance follows Tae Yi Seop, a third-generation chaebol heir who's perfect at everything yet clueless when it comes to relationships, and Kang Min Kyung, an ace known as TK Group's "secret weapon".
Choi Yun Ji is set to portray Kang Min Kyung, an exceptionally capable employee regarded as TK Group's "secret weapon". Lee Jong Suk will star as Tae Yi Seop.
Notably, Iseop's Romance is being developed alongside another upcoming drama A Casual Lie, another adaptation based on a popular web novel by author Kim Eon Hee. While the two series feature different protagonists and unfold as separate stories, they are set within the same universe. Their narratives will be linked through TK Group and cousins Tae Yi Seop (Lee Jong Suk) and Tae Jun Seop (Lee Jun Hyuk).
A Casual Lie tells the story of Tae Jun Seop — the grandson of TK Group chairman Tae Shi Hwan, and widely regarded as the "perfect man from a chaebol family" — and copywriter Yeon Woo Kyung, who get entangled in the TK Group succession battle.
