Upcoming youth crime thriller 'The Substitute' announces premiere date

Lee Jin Wook has been confirmed to star alongside Lim Yoon A in Unnatural.
Unnatural is a medical mystery drama about forensic pathologists at U.D.I., a fictional autopsy and forensic examination agency affiliated with the National Forensic Service (NFS), as they uncover the truth behind cases hidden beneath unnatural deaths.
The K-drama is based on the Japanese drama of the same name, which aired on TBS Television in 2018.
Lim Yoon A has been cast as Song Do Eun, a forensic pathologist. Lee Jin Wook will play Gu Seung Hyuk, a forensic pathologist at the U.D.I. center.
Gu Seung Hyuk is a cool-headed man who rarely reveals his emotions in front of others. Because he devotes his attention exclusively to the dead rather than the living, he is nicknamed "Jeoseung (afterlife) Seung Hyuk" within U.D.I. Reluctant to interact with others and unwilling to let anyone get close to him easily, he always maintains a certain distance from those around him with his expressionless face and cynical attitude.
With nearly 3,000 autopsies under his belt, Gu Seung Hyuk's expertise is second to none. He boasts the precision to complete an autopsy in a short amount of time without missing even the tiniest traces left on a body.
Regarding the casting, the production team of Unnatural commented, "Actor Lee Jin Wook's signature cool aura and restrained emotional expressions will create remarkable synergy with Gu Seung Hyuk, a character who rarely reveals his true feelings. Please show a lot of interest in Lee Jin Wook's portrayal of Gu Seung Hyuk, as he delicately expresses even the subtle emotions hidden behind his expressionless face and brings the character to life in his own distinctive style."
Unnatural is scheduled to premiere in 2027. Stay tuned!
