Park Min Young adds another role to her 'Queen of Office Rom-Coms' repertoire with 'Nine to Six'

Actress Park Min Young transforms into a workaholic deputy general manager of the legal team who is practically married to her job in the upcoming SBS drama Nine to Six.

Nine to Six follows a woman who is all logic and a man who is all warmth as they meet and search for answers in both work and love.

Based on the 2021 Chinese drama The Rational Life (starring Qin Lan and Dylan Wang), the story follows two people with contrasting personalities. Park Min Young plays the workaholic Kang Yi Ji. She is more resolute than anyone at work but inexperienced when it comes to love. Opposite her, Yook Sung Jae plays Han Sun Woo, a younger man full of warmth and kindness.

In the K-drama, Park Min Young plays Kang Yi Ji, the deputy general manager of the legal team at Chronic Motors, whose motto is "100% logic". She is set to showcase sharp professional skills and the qualities of a workaholic who is deeply devoted to her job. The first look at Park Min Young perfectly embodying Kang Yi Ji, Chronic Motors' go-to employee who gets things done, has been unveiled.

In the newly released stills, Kang Yi Ji sports a sleek, sharp bob cut and an impeccably tailored suit, with crisp, precise lines. As she speaks on the phone in the office, her sparkling eyes and resolute expression convey her professionalism and her refusal to leave even the slightest room for error at work.

However, even the highly capable Kang Yi Ji faces a formidable rival: Jung Ki Tae (Jo Bok Rae), a master of office politics. Kang Yi Ji and Jung Ki Tae are rivals competing for the position of general manager of the legal team. In the newly released stills, Kang Yi Ji engages in a subtle battle of nerves with Jung Ki Tae, giving him a cold stare as he stands in her way.

Park Min Young returns as the "queen of office rom-coms". After starring in several career-defining office drama roles, including Kim Mi So in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Jin Ha Kyung in Forecasting Love and Weather, and Kang Ji Won in Marry My Husband, Park Min Young is set to undergo a new transformation as Kang Yi Ji.
