Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Actor Hwang In Youp's cameo appearance in the K-drama Dear X will be seen in the latest episode.
On November 13, TVING released the still cuts of the upcoming special appearance of Hwang In Youp. It was also confirmed that the actor's special appearance will be seen on episodes 5 and 6, which will also be released today.
Dear X tells the story of Baek Ah Jin, an actress who used any means necessary to achieve fame. Having endured domestic violence as a child, she learned to manipulate others for her own survival. While she can seem kind, she shows her cruel side whenever someone angers her or gets in the way of her goals. The K-drama is based on the webtoon of the same name by artist Ban Ji Un.
Director Lee Eung Bok, who is known for creating the K-dramas Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, and more, will be responsible for directing the upcoming series.
Kim You Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, Lee Yeol Eum, Kim Yoo Mi, and Hong Jong Hyun are currently leading the K-drama.
Hwang In Youp will portray the role of Heo In Gang, an idol turned actor who climbed the top-star ladder with successful projects one after another. He will walk the red carpet with Baek Ah Jin, as the two are senior and junior actors under the same agency with a strictly professional connection. After meeting Baek Ah Jin, Heo In Gang becomes different.
The actor shared his insight on joining the TVING K-drama, "I've always been a fan of director Lee Eung Bok's work, and I really want to be part of his projects one day. I am grateful and honored to be part of Dear X as the character Heo In Gang."
