The highly anticipated MBC drama Perfect Crown, starring IU and Byeon Woo Seok, has confirmed its premiere date for April 10.

On March 6, the production team of MBC's Perfect Crown stated, "It has been confirmed to premiere on April 10." The drama will follow the currently airing Friday-Saturday series In Your Radiant Season

It is reported that the drama's schedule was pushed back by one week from the original plan, and it will now premiere in the second week of April due to the broadcast of the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.

The casting of IU and Byeon Woo Seok has drawn major attention from the very early stages of production. Expectations are high for the synergy the two stars, both with global fan bases, will bring.

In the drama, IU plays Seong Hee Joo, the daughter of a chaebol family blessed with beauty, intelligence, and business skills. Although she appears to have everything, her status as a commoner limits her, and she decides to enter a contract marriage with Prince Yi An of the royal family.

Byeon Woo Seok plays Prince Yi An, the royal family's second son. Though he lives with the fate of a royal, which prevents him from shining or raising his voice, the public chooses him as "the most beloved royal in the Republic of Korea."

Perfect Crown is coming April 10. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+. Stay tuned!
