Ji Chang Wook is going viral on social media sites and online communities because of his kind gesture. 

On July 22, a heartwarming story about Ji Chang Wook went viral after a netizen shared her airport encounter. 

She posted a photo of her child, explaining that her little one was afraid of escalators while they were at the airport. Just then, a man descended and kindly held her child's hand. To her surprise, that helpful stranger was none other than Ji Chang Wook, who then accompanied her child on the escalator. The parent expressed gratefulness for his thoughtful gesture.

Other witnesses later came forward to confirm the account and commend Ji Chang Wook.

Ji Chang Wook's agency then responded to the heartwarming story circulating. According to Spring Company, "We didn't know about Ji Chang Wook's heartwarming story and only found out about it through social media. Even though it's a small thing, we're grateful that people look favorably on it."

For this year, Ji Chang Wook is set to lead the upcoming K-drama The Manipulated with EXO's Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, Yang Dong Geun, and Jung Heon

Next year, Ji Chang Wook will star in one K-drama and film. The actor will work with Son Ye Jin, After School's Nana, SF9's Chani, and Secret's Han Sun Hwa in the Netflix original K-drama Scandal

Ji Chang Wook will also return to the big screen with the upcoming film Colony. He will work with renowned stars Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Shin Rok, Shin Hyun Been, and Go Soo in the upcoming action thriller movie.

In 2024, Ji Chang Wook was busy with different projects. He led the Disney+ action thriller K-drama Gangnam B-Side and also returned to the historical genre with Queen Woo. He also made a grand comeback to the movie scene after three years through the film Revolver. He worked alongside Jeon Do Yeon, Im Ji Yeon, Kim Jun Han, Kim Jong Soo, and Jeong Man Sik
