Ju Ji Hoon shared his thoughts on viewers' request for a new season of Kingdom.

The renowned actor recently participated in an interview with the media to talk about his recent Netflix original K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. In addition to his latest medical series, Ju Ji Hoon was also asked about his first Netflix K-drama project, Kingdom.

Ju Ji Hoon's Netflix original series, Kingdom, is one of the platform's most acclaimed and popular K-dramas.  As one of the first original Korean series on Netflix, it became a global phenomenon and paved the way for other K-dramas to succeed on the streaming service.

The media asked the actor about a third season of Kingdom. Ju Ji Hoon responded, "Everyone asks when Kingdom season 3 will be released.  It's a good thing for actors. Some people also ask about the new seasons of my film, Along With the Gods. This just means they enjoyed my work. I appreciate hearing that people want to watch Kingdom itself, rather than just seeing my character, Lee Chang, again."

Ju Ji Hoon added, "To my knowledge, the Kingdom writer is currently busy with another project, so there's no word yet on a third season."

Meanwhile, Ju Ji Hoon starred in back-to-back amazing K-dramas for the past three months.

Just recently, Ju Ji Hoon led the Netflix original medical K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call with Choo Young Woo, Ha Young, Yoon Gyung Ho, Jeong Jae Kwang, and Kim Eui Sung. The series is currently trending not only in Korea but also overseas. Many are asking for another season for the medical K-drama.

Ju Ji Hoon also led the romantic comedy series Love Your Enemy and the mystery thriller K-drama Light Shop late last year.

After The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, Ju Ji Hoon will then lead the new crime thriller series Climax with Ha Ji Won, Oh Jung Se, Cha Joo Young, and After School's Nana. He is also in talks to return to the historical genre with The Remarried Empress
