Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin give a glimpse of their character dynamics at 'The Perfect Lie' script reading
Jung Eun Chae has shared whether Flex X Cop Season 3 will be happening.
On September 22, Jung Eun Chae sat for an interview commemorating the conclusion of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop Season 2.
Flex X Cop Season 2 follows Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), who uses wealth and connections like cheat codes, and veteran detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae) as they team up to take down increasingly cunning criminals.
Jung Eun Chae talked about her chemistry with Ahn Bo Hyun, saying, "He was so good as Jin Yi Soo himself that it was easy for me to adapt. There were times when it was hard to tell Ahn Bo Hyun from Jin Yi Soo. He helped me a lot so that I could adapt quickly. He is such a flexible actor, so he responded well to my reactions and was also good at ad-libs, which allowed us to work well together."
Talking about Yoo Seung Ho, who played the main villain Yoo Seong Won, Jung Eun Chae recalled, "Just as the director said it was a special appearance, he kept appearing little by little in the post-credits scene from the beginning, which added more weight and gravitas to the character. It was my first time meeting him through this project, and it was fun acting together because he did such a great job of portraying the character in a three-dimensional way."
Jung Eun Chae expressed her gratitude, saying, "The set was like a family — friendly, warm, and welcoming. Although there were many heavy cases and tense moments, behind the camera, [the vibe] was so cheerful, and there was a lot of laughter. Jin Yi Soo was always at the center of it all as the mood maker."
Toward the end of the drama, Kim Ji Hoon appeared as a new criminal, heightening anticipation for Season 3. Regarding this, Jung Eun Chae said, "I don't know the specifics yet, but if the opportunity comes, I'll be ready anytime. I think she'll maintain the same character traits, but since she resolved the pent-up feelings she had by arresting Yoo Seong Won in Season 2, I think she'll naturally get involved in a new case next time."
