Kang Tae Oh becomes Han So Hee's husband in 'The Intern'
Moon River unveils highlight teaser.
Moon River tells the story of Crown Prince Lee Kang (Kang Tae Oh), who has lost his smile, and Park Dal Yi (Kim Se Jeong), a merchant who has lost part of her memories, as their souls get swapped, unleashing chaos.
The teaser begins by showing Lee Kang mourning the loss of his beloved consort, who becomes a casualty of the power struggle within the palace. Consumed by vengeance, Lee Kang lives recklessly as a scoundrel—until one day he encounters Park Dal Yi, a woman who looks exactly like the deceased consort.
However, unlike the deposed consort, Park Dal Yi is a lowly merchant, speaking the townsfolk's tongue with a demeanor full of playful wit and cheeky confidence. As soon as she arrives in Hanyang, she becomes entangled with Crown Prince Lee Kang. The two bicker and clash, yet gradually begin to like each other.
Meanwhile, Left Councillor Kim Han Cheol (Jin Goo) watches everything unfold with a cold, piercing gaze, and his chilling warning heightens the tension. Seeking more power, Kim Han Cheol plunges the royal family into chaos, while Crown Prince Lee Kang and Park Dal Yi face increasing danger due to his schemes.
The teaser also offers glimpses into the uncertainties faced by Prince Jae Woon (Lee Shin Young) and Kim Han Cheol's daughter, Kim Woo Hee (Hong Su Zu).
Just as the characters get tangled up in the web of desires, destiny brings a twist of events — Lee Kang and Park Dal Yi suddenly switch bodies. The chaotic alliance between a crown prince who wakes up as a merchant and a merchant who opens her eyes to find herself a prince promises a whirlwind of comedic and dramatic tension.
Moon River premieres on October 31. The K-drama will be coming on Viki.
