tvN's upcoming drama Gift has unveiled an exciting new teaser.
Gift follows Jung Min Yong (Kim Woo Bin), a former professional baseball pitching coach whose life takes an unexpected turn after an accident gives him a special ability. He then takes charge of a struggling high school baseball team that sits at the bottom of the rankings.
The teaser opens with an introduction to Jung Min Yong, whose life takes an extraordinary turn after a car accident grants him a superpower. Reflecting on his new beginning, he declares in a voice-over, "The Jung Min Yong you knew is dead. From now on, I'm going to try living properly, too."
His newfound ability allows him to recognize a person's natural baseball talent and potential for improvement at a single glance. Although he is initially bewildered by the mysterious information appearing above the players' heads, which remains invisible to everyone else, he gradually embraces his gift. With newfound confidence, he remarks, "Because now, I can see all the right answers. And in just one second at that."
When those around him question what exactly he is seeing, Jung Min Yong confidently responds, "I'm telling you, look forward to it. Because we're about to properly show you our skills."
Gift will premiere on December 5. Watch the teaser here.
