Esther Yu and Chen Jing Ke's Chinese life drama 'Road to Success' announces premiere date
L, Kang Min Ah, and Kwon So Hyun share comments on Love in Sync.
Love in Sync is a rom-com that follows a woman who rejects empathy and a man who has to embrace it. Through a surreal phenomenon, they begin to feel each other's emotions and embark on a transformative journey.
L, who leads the drama as Cha Eun Hwan, a popular psychological counselor, selected "emotional connection" as the drama's key keyword. He said, "Since this is a drama that mainly deals with empathy, the story of Cha Eun Hwan and Yoo Ji An surrounding emotional transference will be a major viewing point." He added, "I think that by observing others' hearts through the drama Love in Sync, viewers may be able to discover and better understand parts of themselves that they didn't know before."
Kang Min Ah, who plays top star Yoo Ji An, likened Love in Sync to "an all-you-can-eat buffet" overflowing with a variety of charms. She explained, "From life in the entertainment industry to melodrama and fantasy, the drama is filled with many interesting elements, and they all come together in perfect harmony." She added, "I hope viewers will enjoy watching Yoo Ji An grow, both as a person and as an actress."
Kwon So Hyun plays Han Yi Jin, Yoo Ji An's rival and a rising actress. She said, "Love in Sync contains emotions that anyone can relate to, such as love, jealousy, and emotional wounds. I hope viewers will experience those emotions too, and while reflecting on the emotions in their own hearts."
Ahead of the premiere, the production team shared, "Just as the keywords chosen by L, Kang Min Ah, and Kwon So Hyun suggest, we hope viewers will enjoy Love in Sync by focusing on the 'emotions' that make up our hearts."
Love in Sync is coming July 4. The K-drama will stream on Disney+ (select regions).
