'True Education': Kim Mu Yeol & team to teach hard lesson to those undermining the education system
On March 9, the 2026 China TV Series Quality Awards ceremony was held at Jing'an Sports Center in Shanghai.
The China TV Series Quality Awards is a television awards event hosted by the Shanghai Media Group and the People's Government of Jing'an District, Shanghai, that recognizes shows and professionals who have delivered works of the highest quality and made a significant cultural impact over the past year. The ceremony was attended by numerous stars, including Bai Jing Ting, Bai Lu, William Chan, and Xiao Zhan, among others.
A total of 34 awards were presented at this year's ceremony. Wang Jun for A Better Life and Zheng Xiao Long and Cao Yi Wen for Legend of Zang Hai won Director of the Year for Quality; Xiao Zhan for Legend of Zang Hai and Susan Sun for A Better Life received the Outstanding Quality Star of the Year awards.
This marked the fourth time Susan Sun had received the honor at the China TV Series Quality Awards. And Xiao Zhan became the youngest actor in the history of the ceremony to win the Outstanding Quality Star of the Year award.
The historical drama Legend of Zang Hai not only swept major awards, including those for production, directing, and performance, but also took home honors for producer and art direction.
Love's Ambition, starring Zhao Lusi and William Chan, took home Quality Innovative Producer of the Year, Quality Innovative Director of the Year, and All-Media Quality Hit Drama of the Year awards. William Chan won the Breakthrough Performance Drama Star award.
Other noteworthy honors include the Quality Influence Drama Star of the Year, awarded to Bai Lu and Oho Ou; and Quality Appeal Drama Star, awarded to Xin Yun Lai and Lu Yu Xiao.
