
Netflix confirmed the production of the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Get Schooled.
On March 20, Netflix announced that Kim Mu Yeol, Jin Ki Joo, BLOCK B's P.O., and Lee Sung Min will lead the upcoming K-drama Get Schooled.
Get Schooled will reveal the events of the fictional agency, the Teachers' Rights Protection Agency. The K-drama will showcase how the agency will help the teachers restore the school's authority. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name, written by Chae Yong Taek and illustrated by Han Ga Ram.
Director Hong Jong Chan (Juvenile Justice, Life, and Dear My Friends) and writer Lee Nam Gyu (Daily Dose of Sunshine, Behind Your Touch, and Duty after School) will work together to create the upcoming K-drama.
Get Schooled will begin filming in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, the broadcast date is still undisclosed. The upcoming K-drama will exclusively air on Netflix.
Kim Mu Yeol will play Na Hwa Jin, an inspector at the Teachers’ Rights Protection Agency. Using his methods and judgment, he will tackle different problems on school campuses. He is known as the 'Grim Reaper' for his ability to overcome any obstacle, but his ultimate goal is to maintain justice and peace.
Jin Ki Joo will be Im Han Rim, the fellow inspector of Na Hwa Jin (Kim Mu Yeol). She was also a former Special Forces soldier.
Lee Sung Min will portray the role of Choi Kang Seok in the series. He is currently the Minister of Education. He also founded the Teachers’ Rights Protection Agency.
Lastly, BLOCK B's P.O. will portray the character named Bong Geun Dae. He is a staff member of the Teachers’ Rights Protection Agency.
