Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, is a drama about doctors working at Yulje Hospital, depicting the growth of residents who dream of becoming wise doctors as they navigate their struggles.
In the K-drama, Go Youn Jung plays Oh Yi Young, a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Yulje Hospital in Jongno. Oh Yi Young is known for her stiff expression and soulless reactions, which have become her trademark. Moreover, her unfiltered honesty, regardless of time and place, constantly stirs up rumors within the hospital.
Every morning at 5:30 a.m., Oh Yi Young arrives at the hospital with an utterly indifferent expression, determined to make it through the day. However, the hectic pace of the hospital always moves in the opposite direction of her resolve. It remains to be seen whether the day will come when her simple wish — to survive just one more day — will come true.
