'Tastefully Yours' team defines the K-drama as a 'late-night snack'
Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been's Our Movie is gearing up for release.
Our Movie follows Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a film director with a past trauma, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an actress suffering from an incurable disease.
At the script reading, director Lee Jung Heum, writers Han Ga Eun, Kang Gyeong Min, along with actors Namkoong Min, Jeon Yeo Bin, Lee Seol (playing Chae Seo Young), and Seo Hyeon Woo (playing Boo Seung Won), all gathered.
Namkoong Min plays Lee Je Ha, a film director who takes on a new project in an effort to overcome past trauma.
Jeon Yeo Been plays the role of Lee Da Eum, an aspiring actress suffering from a rare disease.
Lee Seol portrays top star Chae Seo Young. Seo Hyeon Woo, in the role of film producer Boo Seung Won, exuded a bold and livley charm. During a negotiation scene over production expenses, his brisk reply — "Just use it" — added a punch of charisma. Director Lee remarked, "I'd love to work with a CEO like that," evoking laughter.
After the script reading, Namkoong Min shared his thoughts, saying, "I think this will turn out to be a good drama. If you've been waiting for a well-made series, I hope you'll wait a little longer and make sure to watch it."
Jeon Yeo Been added, "I'm starting the shoot with a mix of nervousness and excitement. I'll be seeing you soon with Our Movie, a drama that feels like a gift."
Our Movie is coming this June, on Disney+ (select regions).
