Channel A's The Witch has released its third teaser.
The Witch follows Dong Jin (Park Jin Young), who strives to break the curse of misfortune surrounding Mi Jung (Roh Jeong Eui), a woman labeled as a witch. Mi Jung is a woman who has cut herself off from the world due to the mysterious misfortunes that follow her wherever she goes.
The teaser begins with showing Mi Jung walking slowly across a snow-covered schoolyard. She starts by saying, "Ever since I was young, strange things have often happened around me." Her narration is accompanied by a haunting scene of a student suffering a fatal accident when a high-voltage wire sparks violently after breaking off from a utility pole. This is followed by the scene of his funeral. Closing her eyes tightly and shuddering, Mi Jung says, "People called me a witch." The camera lingers on a bench etched with the words, "Class 3, Park Mi Jung, Witch." In the end, Mi Jung decides to leave the school and is seen dragging her suitcase in the middle of the night. Dong Jin sees a "For Sale" sign hung on her house gate.
Years after, Dong Jin encounters Mi Jung on a subway, as if by fate. This time he is determined to break the curse of misfortunes surrounding her.
