Actor Sung Jun may be joining Solo Leveling.
On September 3, Sung Jun's agency, moahn Entertainment, told Newsen that reports of him starring in the Netflix series Solo Leveling are unconfirmed: "Nothing has been confirmed."
Solo Leveling tells the story of Sung Jin Woo, an E-rank Hunter, the lowest tier among those who defend the world from monsters. Following a near-death experience, he levels up to become the strongest hunter capable of saving the world.
Byeon Woo Seok has been cast as Sung Jin Woo, while Han So Hee is in talks to play Cha Hae In. Previous reports also stated that Kang Mi Na has also joined the talks to star in the K-drama.
Sung Jun recently made a special appearance in Perfect Crown, where he played King Yi Hwan, the late older brother of Grand Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok).
His other notable works include The Fiery Priest Season 2, Island, and a guest role in Can This Love Be Translated?.
