MBC's buzzworthy rom-com Perfect Crown has landed on Disney+ Global Top 10.
According to Flixpatrol, the K-drama ranked fourth on the list of Top TV Shows on Disney+ on April 13, trending in over 40 countries across the globe, including Argentina, Australia, the Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Grenada, Haiti, Hong Kong, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Salvador, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, the United States, and Venezuela, among others.
The K-drama also ranked second, followed by Bloodhounds Season 2, on the list of most buzzworthy dramas last week. IU and Byeon Woo Seok grabbed No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, on the list of actors who generated the most buzz.
Set against the backdrop of the constitutional monarchy of Korea, Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.
The K-drama premiered with a stellar viewership of 7.8% (nationwide) and 8.2% (metropolitan), the third-highest premiere ratings ever recorded for an MBC Friday–Saturday drama, and rose to 9.5% (nationwide) and 10.2% (metropolitan) for episode 2.
