'Pretty Crazy' surpasses 'F1: The Movie' & 'My Daughter Is a Zombie' in today's advance ticket sales

Pretty Crazy, starring Girls Generation's Lim Yoon A and Ahn Bo Hyun, is continuing to draw large audiences in the days following its premiere.

On August 20, it was revealed that Pretty Crazy had claimed the top spot in the Korean movie reservation rate. On its eighth day of release, it finally surpassed strong contenders Hollywood film F1: The Movie (Brad Pitt) and the hit Korean film My Daughter Is a Zombie, led by Jo Jung Suk, Lee Jung Eun, Cho Yeo Jung, Yoon Kyung Ho, Choi Yu Ri, and Jo Han Sun. 

 According to reports, positive word-of-mouth is fueling the film's growing popularity. Audiences are sharing positive reviews, highlighting the movie's ability to be both funny and deeply moving. Many have described it as an "unexpectedly great healing comedy," praising the film for its satisfying mix of laughter and emotional depth.

Pretty Crazy premiered in Korean theaters on August 13. Two days earlier, on August 11, the film had already ranked first in Korean movie reservations. Now, eight days after its release, it has once again reclaimed the top spot.

Meanwhile, Pretty Crazy is expanding its reach and will reportedly be shown in theaters in several countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and more.

Pretty Crazy is a romantic comedy film that showcases the struggles of a young unemployed man who is caught up with the unusual part-time job of monitoring a woman who transforms into a demon every sunrise.

Lim Yoon A, Ahn Bo Hyun, Sung Dong Il, Joo Hyun Young, Go Geon Han, Lee Hyo Bi, and more led the movie. 

Pretty Crazy is a film by director Lee Sang Geun. He is best known for creating the hit 2019 film Exit.
