'Moving Season 2': Disney+ responds to reports of Won Gyu Bin replacing Lee Jung Ha as Kim Bong Seok
New historical Chinese drama Shadow Love, led by Song Yi and Ryan Cheng, is coming August 24.
The C-drama tells the story of Li Shuang, a female general of the Jin Dynasty, who by chance comes across a man who has completely lost his memory and gives him the name Jin An. They join forces to root out spies, but their relationship is gradually put to the test.
Li Shuang, a female general of the Jin Dynasty, is a valiant and skilled battle warrior. She is ordered to uncover a spy within one month.
One day, Li Shuang happens to rescue a gravely injured man who has completely lost his memory and brings him back to the military camp.
The man begs Li Shuang to take him in and allow him to follow her in battle. She names him Jin An, which signifies lasting peace and stability for the Jin dynasty.
The two join forces to root out the spy, but they are repeatedly subjected to deliberate trouble from the newly appointed supervisor, and face frequent incursions by the neighboring enemy state of Dayao. Relying on his exceptional intelligence, Jin An overcomes hardships and dangers alongside Li Shuang.
Gradually, Jin An recalls his true identity — he is, in fact, the Prince of Dayao. War is on the verge of breaking out, and the two are left with no choice but to face each other blade to blade. Weary of bloodshed, they decide to join forces to resolve the crisis and help people live in peace and prosperity.
Legend of the Female General actor Ryan Cheng stars as Jin An, Joy of Life actress Song Yi comes as General Li Shuang.
Joining them are Bi Wen Jun as Sima Yang, Shi Ce as Lu Xin, Darren Chen as Mo Yin, and Ji Xiao Bing as Sima Li.
