Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Shin's Project will reportedly have a second season.
On October 29, various media outlets stated that the production team of the tvN K-drama Shin's Project will create a new season. The K-drama concluded on October 28 with its 12th episode, leading to speculation about the possibility of a second season.
A representative of the production team responded to the reports and stated, "The team is currently discussing the possibility of a second season for Shin's Project."
Shin's Project revolved around Mr. Shin, a chicken restaurant owner whose outgoing nature leads him to become a "dispute resolution hero." He embodies justice by solving cases through original methods that often bend the rules.
Director Shin Kyung Soo (The First Responders, The Nokdu Flower, and Six Flying Dragons) and writer Ban Ki Ri (Missing: The Other Side) collaborated for the K-drama.
Han Seok Kyu, Bae Hyeon Seong, Lee Re, Kim Sung Oh, Woo Mi Hwa, and Kim Sang Ho led the K-drama.
The K-drama debuted with a 5.9% viewership rating and quickly gained momentum through positive word-of-mouth. The series consistently maintained an average of around 8% in the latter half, ultimately hitting a new series high of 9.1% with the 11th episode. The finale achieved an impressive 8.6% rating, concluding the series on a high note by securing the number one spot among all cable programs.
The finale strongly hinted at a second season by revealing the establishment of a "Mr. Shin’s Project TF Team" within the court, suggesting a continuation of his unique case-solving.

Before Han Seok Kyu returns as Mr. Shin, he will first greet viewers in the upcoming K-drama When the Day Breaks and Kin and Sin.
Bae Hyun Sung will also first star in the upcoming K-drama Substitute College Entrance Exam with Cha Kang Yoon, Park Yoon Ho, Uhm Ji Won, Park Hyuk Kwon, and Baek Ji Won before returning as Philip Cho.
